What do you like best about UKG Pro?UKG Pro really shines when you’re managing a complex organization. One of its biggest advantages is the ability to oversee multiple entities from a single, unified platform, which makes cross‑company administration far smoother. It’s also highly configurable you can build custom fields to capture exactly the data your organization needs, tailor workflows, and create multiple role types with precise permissions. On the reporting side, having Cognos built in is a major plus: the burst feature lets you automate alerts and send targeted reports to specific groups without any manual effort. Altogether, UKG Pro gives you a flexible, scalable environment that adapts to the way your organization actually works.What do you dislike about UKG Pro?UKG Pro and UKG Pro WFM still feel like two separate systems, even with the new look. The UKG community and documentation can also be confusing at times.What problems is UKG Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?UKG Pro is solving the need to move away from manual processes. With workflows, managers have the ability to request changes directly in the system instead of relying on separate, manual steps like forms and Excel spreadsheets. It also helps with tracking work permits and licence expirations through burst emails, and with managing staff members who have secondary jobs.

What do you like best about UKG Pro?I like the ease of use of the UKG Pro interface, as it is intuitive and allows tasks to be performed quickly and efficiently. Additionally, I appreciate the way information flows between different processes, which facilitates employee management and allows timely access to the necessary data to carry out activities appropriately.What do you dislike about UKG Pro?I would like the reports to include more detailed information in the comments used to justify overtime, so that it is possible to more clearly identify the reason for the additional hours. This would facilitate their review, validation, and tracking, as well as provide better traceability of the hours worked outside the established schedule.What problems is UKG Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?I use UKG Pro to manage employee information and keep detailed track of staff times. The platform facilitates the administration of attendance, clock-ins, schedules, incidents, and payroll-related processes, contributing to a more efficient, accurate, and organized management of the workforce.

What do you like best about UKG Pro?I like how user friendly the system is, once you learn how everything ties together its easy to navigate. I also have a wonderful client services contact Danny Pyo who is always available and beyond helpful.What do you dislike about UKG Pro?The system logs you out so quickly. I am constantly resigning in.What problems is UKG Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?UKG Pro gives us a reliable, centralized source of payroll and HR data, which we've used to build standardized SOPs and calculators for processes like retro pay corrections and PTO supplements for outside benefits (SDI/STD, workers' comp). This has cut down on errors and reliance on one person's institutional knowledge, and sped up turnaround on these calculations.

What do you like best about UKG Pro?I like that the product is robust and can handle all of our HR needs. From recruiting and onboarding to benefits, eLearning, performance management, payroll, and more, the system can do it all.What do you dislike about UKG Pro?I dislike how complex the Workforce Management module is, and how difficult it can be to complete even simple tasks. I also dislike the reporting in UKG. The standard, system-delivered reports aren’t sufficient for what I need, and creating custom reports is incredibly labor-intensive and time-consuming.What problems is UKG Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?The system is truly all-in-one, which has helped us streamline our vendors and keep everything HR-related in one place. The integrations work smoothly, and overall it all fits together nicely.

What do you like best about UKG Pro?My favorite thing about UKG Pro is its robust reporting capabilities, which make it easy to pull the information I need and review it in a clear, useful way.What do you dislike about UKG Pro?Advanced reporting and certain configuration options can come with a learning curve, and there’s room to make the report-building experience more intuitive. Ongoing improvements to analytics, dashboards, and overall configuration flexibility would further strengthen what is already a solid platform.What problems is UKG Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?UKG Pro has helped us streamline our HR and payroll processes by centralizing employee data and improving data accuracy. It has reduced manual work, increased efficiency, and provides the reporting we need to support compensation and retirement benefits decisions.

What do you like best about UKG Pro?UKG has always been able to bring together information about your employees in a way that makes sense for reporting. The use of dataview's means it can be pulled together in a quick manner. I had to adjust to dataview's but now they are invaluable. The customer support for setting these up to get the most information is a value in itself. UKG has always had an excellent team of people who make their product come to life.What do you dislike about UKG Pro?The reports are broader than I like but they still cover the bases of what is needed. It is just a different type of reports than their previous versions. The upside to my dislike is they listen and eventually make changes I feel are positive. Recommendations to others considering UKG Pro?Specifically, the accrual detail report, which has a daily repeat of the balance. The prior report had a balance when a change occurred, such as reducing the vacation balance. Overall, you end up with 365 lines of data even though you make only have around 100 entries. It is a work in process.What problems is UKG Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?UKG has solved many issues over the years. Our company has used them for so long I can't remember a time when we did not have UKG / Kronos products. We have moved from i-series to WFC to WFM Pro and each move has refined our ability to obtain our information in ways we did not know we needed. We have grown with UKG and feel we are better for it. They understand longevity and listening to customers to make the product better, not only for us but for new customers who see and hear all the good things UKG does for so many of us.

What do you like best about UKG Pro?UKG offers an intuitive experience for everyone. Administrators can seamlessly navigate and manage updates on their own with virtually zero support required, while employees benefit from a straightforward, accessible interface.What do you dislike about UKG Pro?Non-priority tickets currently experience longer resolution times than expected. However, once a ticket is assigned to a specific team member, the process accelerates significantly, depending on the complexity of the issue.What problems is UKG Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?I am not experiencing any technical or system issues at the moment. My only outstanding item is a pending ticket that has been open since the beginning of July, which is currently awaiting assignment to a technician.

What do you like best about UKG Pro?Workforce management is great, especially the timecards feature.What do you dislike about UKG Pro?It’s hard to modify timecards in the app, and it’s not difficult to do the same on the website.What problems is UKG Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?Mobility is the key for me.
