The way the platform shows the relevant data through its UI. It's very precise in terms of KPI's such as impressions, clicks, conversions. And its tracking pixels are really helpful at the moment of taking a decision in order to increase or decrease budgets of showing ads.

The campaign building process and the optimization of the images for different placements don't allow me to look at correct previews. Sometimes the images appeared cut when they were actually exactly to the dimensions they were asking.

Once the platform is set up with the pixels and tracking systems it is pretty straightforward to use. Although, the initial set in order to correctly run campaigns might be a little bit tedious

Taboola is an excellent platform for building a top funnel and increasing Brand awareness. Campaign setup is the easiest here as there are not any major audience buckets or other targeting options to choose from. It just shows the right ads to the right audience through its Machine Learning Model which has acquired data of millions of users over time.

There are not many targeting options available and that is the main reason we can not expect a better quality of users to flow in through Taboola ads.

There customer service is top notch. I was impressed with their responsiveness and knowledge. Their product and UI are both easy to use and great for publishers. We have been really pleased with this service for our clients and the added revenue that they are able to provide.

Their reporting in the UI is a little bulky, so you have to pull a lot of different ways to download the data in different spreadsheets - in order to complete the internal reporting we have, it is just a little more time consuming, but nothing we can't handle. The UI could use a bit of an update from the esthetic side of things :)

Added additional revenue points for publishers. Native advertising is all the rage right now on the publisher side of the world, and there are a lot of competitiors in this space - Taboola has been great to work with.

Even though the dashboard is lacking functionality, the publishers working together with Taboola and algorythm is at the top of the market.

Retargeting works also great - and you can create campaigns on 3rd party cookies (deciding on whether to target interests, or vocation or something else)

I normally use taboola to analyze data and check how our campaigns are performing. As a Marketing Analyst I don't usually upload campaigns myself but Taboola has a really nice interface to check data quick and easy.

It is still a very simple website, to sign in the first time your rep needs to register you in, at least that's how it was in my case, and it took a while. Also, even that their simplicity does helps at time you wish you could have more data to analyze.

It will do probably every you want this platform to do.

Taboola offers certain ways to extract data that have been quite beneficial for my reporting. For example, and this is something you can do in many other advertising sites, you can export the image URL which works to extract the image while using a Google Sheet report.

Their dashboard and reporting is user friendly. It's easy to use to execute and report on. Also, can easily find historical data when needed.

Based on our site programming some button actions are captured twice in some cases. I can get the breakdown by month upon request, but it's limited to a certain amount of time I can have them pull the data.

In the past year and a half that we've used Taboola, it's been a good partnership. They've been responsive as needs arise.
