As of now the Gencart is the a great platform , But sometime it lags the product upload , And the themes , layout etc seems to be Old school, They must revamp themself else they will loose market to new player like shopify etc

Store manager ZenCart is osam application which help like a god to us for creating a ecommerce store from zero to hero If I say I don't know anything than also we get all information by this how to process further ..It manages the products and manufactures .It make the life very easy for us..It is so seemless working with no latency and flow is osam ..Importing excel is also easy doing ...You have access to variety of reports on it and much more and Automation option saves a lot time..

Sometime it is little lagging sometime product update is not working ..it crashes lot of time and there should be more update in terms of changes so that we can be compared to latest market..rest of all is good

Store Manager ZenCart solevs lot of our problem in all terms as it is free and budget friendly ready to use we don't have to pay money for same and it is very easy setup for setting the store..Having all tools in one place helps a lot to do all works we can do our store management so easily and so conveniently ..

I've been using Store Manager for over 10 years. It's easy to use, no loading screens while updating your store inventory and/or transactions. While using the program, you are entering info directly to your database without having to go through every loading screen on ZC. If you have to enter 1 item in ZC with 3 pictures, 3 attributes, and each attribute with a related picture, that can take you at least 10 minutes. While using Store Manager, you can bring that down to 3 minutes. You can also import/export CSV files to add to your categories, inventory, and customers; making your time spent on store-related tasks more productive and easier to manage.

You can create different "profiles" in case you manage various stores, and you also have different ways to connect and insert the information into your store. You have access to a variety of reports, and there are even some that you won't find on ZC admin. It's very easy to manage your Zen Cart store with the Store Manager for Zen Cart.

I was really upset to know a few years ago that eMagicOne was stopping development and support for ZC Store Manager. That's why it's free to download now but any bugs or future development for new ZC versions is not going to be there.

After installing this application we get an amazing opportunity to manage categories, products, manufacturers, suppliers, customers and orders.

I think the support response time is what I felt could be improved, but for the price that I paid, I'm not complaining.

After using this product for about 3 years, I can say that this is one of the best and most simple app to manage ZenCart store.

The Automation option saves a lot of time and my team is able to concentrate on other topics. Holistically it is for sure saving money for us

The support is a little lagging, but I did get an answer after 3 days. Overall I'm a happy camper

As mentioned earlier, this is really a good fit for someone who is starting a new setup. The application not very expensive and the tools and feature can applied to any e-commerce requirement. If you ask me , I would say don't think about it, just go for it

nothing beats a windows client application to access your website. it is fast and convenient for your team.

lots of crashes and doing your own database modification will throw the application off. should use better caching and not rely on the server to reply for each request.

The best part about ZenCart is what you get right out of the box. Being a free application and having access to a multitude of admin tools, buttons, language packs, pricing tools, etc. is extremely good value.

ZenCart seems relatively old and clunky compared to Shopify or Square Online. The UI is dated and the sites you can create are not very aesthetically pleasing.

ZenCart solves the need for having a free/ budget friendly eCommerce shopping cart software. Having all the tools in one place also it makes it easier to identify exactly what I can build and the scope of it.

I love it's seamless use, everything is fluid with no latency, and best of all... it's simple! Anyone can learn it in a short period of time and it just made doing inventory so much easier. Import/Export with Excel also makes it super easy to give a digestible file format to the higher ups.

Lack of support, I can't remember the last time it's received an update. It's a great platform but it's definitely not perfect. I'd love to see Quality of Life updates to ween out any bugs

ZenCart makes inventorying way simpler and the spreadsheet import/exporting makes adding stock and reporting stock to managers way easier. It benefits me as it allows me to do 5 hours of work in only an hour or 2.

I've used it in the past with other ecommerce software and it worked perfectly. But with Zencart it did not work 90% of the time.

did not update or work well at all. Everything installed fine but when had to update products it did not work at all. Also imported a customer csv file and totally messed up my database

For most applications it seems to be okay. But with my installation of Zencart it just did not work.

Not using it at all any longer. could not use it.
