very efficient log consolidator
What do you like best about Snare Central?
It doesn't interfere with the application while also fwding the logs to the SIEM
What do you dislike about Snare Central?
I can't use an XML file to quickly 'load' log settings on similar servers; so the setup can be a little slow.
What problems is Snare Central solving and how is that benefiting you?
The apps aren't able to connect to the SIEM directly; Snare is able to fwd them.

Snare captures all logs and the canned reports are great Excellent Support!
What do you like best about Snare Central?
The support I receive is the best. Any time of the day i can reach out for help and receive immediate support by phone or by email. The person i deal with from Toronto is very knowledgeable and great to deal with. Thank you so much for always trying to help our Organizational needs.

Snare is a really great product!

I wish the snare analytics was built in the server.

I dont know any company that does this, but it would be great if there was a syslog agent (if possible)

Excellent experience with Snare so far
What do you like best about Snare Central?
The phone support staff worked with me for the initial installation which was a breeze. When it came time for an upgrade all I had to do was run the installer over the previous version which made the process quick and painless.
What do you dislike about Snare Central?
I have nothing negative to report at the moment as I did not run into any problems so far.
Recommendations to others considering Snare Central?
Great support staff and very easy to use!
What problems is Snare Central solving and how is that benefiting you?
Snare gives me the capability to securely move logs over to my Dell Secure works system.

Snare Support is outstanding. I have contacted them many times and they are quick to respond and remedy the problem.

Applying Licenses can be a little cumbersome but once you understand the method it can be easy.

Easy To Install and Seamless Integration
What do you like best about Snare Central?
The tools was very easy to install and it integrates seamlessly with our Dell Secureworks Detect and Prevent deployment.
What do you dislike about Snare Central?
Nothing really. It has been performing flawlessly.
Recommendations to others considering Snare Central?
Much easier to deploy and maintain than I had anticipated.
What problems is Snare Central solving and how is that benefiting you?
Snare Central is being used to collect logs for endpoint threat monitoring. The benefits I have realized is that the data collected is going to the centralized Detect and Prevent solution for analysis and monitoring.

What do you like best about Snare Central?
In Snare Central, it is the centralization of security logs into a single platform that I really appreciate. The tool greatly aids in the detection of suspicious events, incident tracking, and the generation of compliance reports.
What do you dislike about Snare Central?
The dashboard interface can be a bit complex at first and requires a rather long configuration phase.
What problems is Snare Central solving and how is that benefiting you?
Snare Central helps me solve the problems of dispersion and large volume of security logs, which makes incident detection very difficult.
