Shift seems to be the best stand-alone email client. It can integrate multiple accounts, with incoming messages automatically grouped into as many as four categories. Implementation was simple. I just entered the account access information, and it imported everything. I rely on it at work every day, to handle email quickly and efficiently and without losing track of any. It just works. I've never had to call customer support. I've tried other email clients, but Shift is the most reliable and the only one that works for me.

Shift had trouble, at times, printing to my PDF editor (PDF-Exchange Editor Plus) but they seem to have fixed it in the latest update.

Grouping email items by type, based on my classifications, is essential for the way I work. Shift handles this perfectly. When I click a link in an email, it opens as another tab in the Shift window. If I want to open a particular link in a different browser, this is also an option. I just right-click the link.

As a serial entrepreneur I have 15 active email accounts that I manage daily and Shift is the most essential tool I have in my arsenal of go to tools. Effectively and efficiently managing communications, calendars, and contacts for each account is a no brainer with Shift. With integrated apps like Zoom, HubSpot, and different browser extensions for each company there is simply no better software.

If I could wave my magic wand and add additional functionality to my Shift account, I would add the ability to view my myriad of social media accounts associated with each unique email account to a social dashboard.

I am a consultant. I have about a dozen Google Work accounts that I switch between over the course of a week. Shift makes my life manageable. The integration with my password manager makes it easy to login to my accounts with compromising security. Shift regularly updates and offers new features that are well thought out and actually useful. Shift adds value for my clients too because I'm spending more time being productive instead of juggling accounts.

It keeps my email and calendaring separate from my browsing. I can open quick links directly in Shift though if it's something I just need to glance at or handle quickly. I'll often extend my destop onto my iPad and put shift on my ipad so my comms and calendaring are on my iPad and my browser and spreadsheet work on on my main monitor.

I'm a consultant. I have a dozen Google Work accounts that I juggle. Shift lets me keep all my comms in one place. I lose focus whenever I have to switch screens, so having all my email and chat apps in one place is a game changer.

Saves me loads of time switching back and forth from say Gmail, Linkedin, Hubspot, Whatsapp etc. It certainly streamlines my workflow.

I use Shift almost every day as it really is my productivity hub.

I use three google suite for work and other app, that are all in one place with Shift.

This is the best feature I link, to have all under control in one click, without switching from window to window every time.

I also use Whatsapp and other social apps.

Sometimes the apps and the integrations are not completely the same as the stand alone apps, i.e. whatsapp (there is a slightly difference between whatsapp in shift and whatsapp web).

I like the one place for my most important information and the usefulness of the in apps.

At first I had Logging and retention issues with data and profile. Now the Logins last for a very long time and most p^roblems have been taken care of.

I love how Shift lets me keep all of my email accounts, Facebook, Spotify, and other apps in one organized, seamless workspace. It saves me time and keeps my life focused and organized. I’ve been using it since the Beta days and it’s still one of the most useful tools I use every single day. I like that it's desktop install based & not web based & I can add accounts super quickly.

Occasionally, Shift logs me out of some accounts and I have to go through the re-verification process, which can be a little frustrating—especially when I’m in the middle of work. But honestly, it’s a small inconvenience compared to how much time and mental energy it saves me overall.

Shift solves the constant hassle of switching between multiple email accounts, apps, and browser tabs. Before Shift, I was wasting time juggling logins and a bunch of browser tabs especially for gmail. Now everything I need is in one place, which keeps me organized, efficient, and less mentally scattered throughout the day. It’s become a key part of how I work.

Loading times can be unreasonable and often require restart and still take time to load. Last pass integration is glitch, especially when I get logged out of all of my sessions.

What I like best about Shift is how seamlessly it brings all my email accounts and work apps into one place. It’s super convenient to switch between Gmail, Slack, ClickUp, and other tools without having to open a bunch of tabs or windows. It helps me stay focused and organized, which makes my day feel a lot more manageable.
