The best things about Shield were its speed and ease of implementation, the dashboards that provide a lot of information about the user, and the support from their team.

I really liked that Shield was very easy to integrate, which made the initial setup smooth for us. The team, from engineering to customer success, provided excellent support and helped us maximize the product's potential by tweaking it for our specific use case. The latency is really low, which helps us a lot, and the accuracy of their device fingerprinting is very high. These features are crucial as they enable us to reduce fraud during checkout and keep our payment rails secure.

Because we've reduced latency, there have been instances where device IDs weren't generated for a reasonable size of transactions. I want the Shield team to work on that. They need to work on the ML model so that they can generate a Shield/device ID in a shorter span.

I use Shield to reduce fraud at checkout on Tazapay. It keeps payment rails safe with low dispute rates and helps us work with enterprise clients, beating fraudsters with social engineering, bot attacks, and velocity attacks.

What we really like about SHIELD is how effective their device intelligence is at detecting fraud before it happens. Their real-time insights help us identify suspicious devices and user behaviour. We’ve been able to stay ahead of common scam tactics and provide our users with a more secure user experience. Integration with our backend was also pretty easy, enabling smarter decision-making and strengthening the overall security of our app.

A big plus - the SHIELD team has been incredibly responsive. We ran into some problems while onboarding, but they were hands-on and quick to troubleshoot any issues. Even now, the team is always available when we need support.

SHIELD has an excellent team. Knowledgeable, helpful, and prompt when you have questions or need assistance. They have been with us since the beginning not only helping us implement, but taking product feedback when we ran into limitations, and most importantly helping us relentlessly brainstorm how to improve our own use case with the help of their feature. We have come up with some fairly innovative solutions using their tooling to the benefit of our entire product line, and at a very reasonable cost for the benefit we are receiving.

There are a few product limitations with our very unique use case, but they have taken that feedback, and actually moved up internal timelines to help us fill that gap in their service.

Shield helps us to conduct entity resolution among our target customers, ensuring that we flag suspicious accounts for further review, and provide a wealth of data utilized within our fraud detection which we would not otherwise have access to.

After switching to SHIELD from a competing device fingerprinting service, we saw massive improvements in the accuracy of device identification. False positive rates have also decreased significantly since our partnership.

Another thing is we were able to get integrated really quick and see results. No training period unlike other solutions in the market.

No negative points to share as such, cause we have had a great experience.
