I love that SFTP To Go is super easy to use and set up. The initial setup was very easy, making it a hassle-free experience. It's also been reliable for securely transferring data from our HRIS system to our CRM, especially since our HRIS doesn't have an API for the data we need. I appreciate that it solves this problem for us efficiently.

I like the reliability and ease of automation of SFTP To Go. It consistently delivers our data on schedule and integrates smoothly with our workflows, which makes our daily syncing process seamless. This reliability is crucial for keeping our platform accurate and up to date. The initial setup was straightforward and quick for our team, allowing us to configure connections and start receiving data without much effort. I also appreciate that it requires minimal maintenance, which reduces the burden on our engineering team.

Overall it works well for our use case, but there is room for improvement in areas like more detailed transfer logs and stronger alerting/notifications. Better visibility when something fails or is delayed would help us respond faster to data sync issues. It would be helpful if transfer logs included more granular error details (e.g, specific file-level failures and clearer reasons for retries or skips). For alerting, real-time notifications via email or webhook when a transfer fails or is delayed would improve our response time and reduce the need for manual checking.

It’s pretty easy to set up user accounts for schools so they can connect to our server. It also makes it simple to collect data from schools in a secure way.

How you're not able to send a link to a specific folder unless you have a higher plan.

It solved our problem of needing a secure way to transfer necessary student data from schools. And also allows for easier automation in transferring that data. It has been much easier than using FileZilla.

Honestly, I think what I like most is that the files will remain where they belong (or whatever) and I know who did send them and when. We had a pretty flimsy system built around custom code prior to this and it would constantly break. Now all of our files route into their respective places (based on the rules we created) and there's an actual dashboard that shows what is going on. The API documentation is better than most that I've seen; not many of the ones I've been reading through allow me to understand after spending hours reading the entire doc.

If you are a small team or you only push a few files per day then you pay the same price as a large corporation pushing thousands of files per day. Doesn't seem fair. You are testing within the same account therefore you need to make sure your permissions are very tight or you may cause damage somewhere else. A separate testing area would be nice. Oh, and email notifications; you can't determine when they will arrive. Petty thing, but annoying.

We previously had files located across multiple FTP accounts. SFTP To Go combines all of these areas into one spot so you can visually confirm it. This allow us to look backward and identify issues if something has gone awry and also it replaced a large amount of middleware that needed constant maintenance but now it simply functions.

We love the speed for both uploading and downloading. The GUI is also very simple and made for an easy experience as we migrated our users onto SFTP To Go.

The list of features that appeared to be included with the Enterprise level license included features that were additional add-ons with an increased cost.

We needed an easy to use, easy to setup, and secure way for us to move data between our clients and us and SFTP To Go checked all the boxes.

Ease of activating the service. Simple interface for users. Fair pricing. Performance has been very good.

The dasboard is clean and easy to navigate. Good uptime record. Affordably priced.

We get 15 credentials for the cheapest plan. 20 to 30 credentials would be ideal.

We wanted an external SFTP server that is dependable and affordable. SFTP to Go offers that. We were able to migrate to SFTP2Go and shut down our internal SFTP server.

I like that SFTP To Go has a very simple interface that lets us configure everything needed to accomplish our goals. It does file transfers well without unnecessary features and file management tools that we didn't ask for. I appreciate that we can create new drop-off/pick-up folders and lock them down easily, along with quickly creating new credentials. The initial setup was pretty easy, and we're able to use SFTP To Go with various tools and systems across our organization. It's great to have a reliable solution for quickly and easily transferring files to/from vendor sites.

This has been flagged as 'coming soon' for a while, but it would be nice to be able to create user accounts that are only able to transfer files and not make them administrators for our account. Better analytics to monitor our bandwidth usage each month. The current export is clunky and hard to get a good picture of how our bandwidth is being used. If there were some graphs and charts that show what credentials/folders were used the most from a quantity and size perspective.

SFTP To Go securely sends files with sensitive data, offers a simple interface for configuration, and avoids unnecessary features. We can create and secure folders easily while quickly setting credentials, which we couldn't do with costlier vendors.

For what it is, it's fantastic. It doesn't have fancy integrations like with Google Cloud though.

I like how I can enhance security by adding 2FA and temporary credentials, ensuring that only the necessary people have access. The setup was very easy, and overall, I haven't run into any issues, which makes me even more likely to recommend it.

I use SFTP To Go for secure file transfers between vendors, solving integration issues where one lacks API support. It's easy to use via the web GUI, and I can easily share guest credentials.
