I find Setyl quite impressive. I love the ease of deployment, making it simple to implement across the organization with very little learning needed. Their integrations and available connectors are a huge plus. The scalability is another great aspect, allowing us to grow and adapt as needed. The platform's design is very straightforward and user-friendly, with a graphical user interface that's super intuitive. It offers seamless integration with our Microsoft 365 user database and effortlessly links all our assets, which automates many processes for us. The initial setup was absolutely smooth, just a one-click integration of our directory, and the ability to upload and edit CSV files was a game-changer. The fast adoption rate and streamlined process make it very compelling to use.

There are some occasional hiccups, but those are connected to Setyl's rapid growth. Some updates that are being pushed sometimes require a little tweaking. However, every time I have sent a support ticket to the team of Setyl, it was handled very quickly in a professional and friendly manner.

There's a lot of great features which makes life a lot easier for IT to manage and assign assets, such as automatic assignment of laptops depending on who last logged in, the support is top class, if there's any issues they are resolved quickly with full communication.

There were some issues with importing data from 3rd parties, however they have been fixed. It would be nice if there was a mobile app

Setyl gives us a clear overview of devices, users, and SaaS tools all in one place. It’s easy to use, integrates well with JumpCloud and Google Workspace, and helps us stay on top of renewals, ownership, and costs.

Setyl works well overall, but we’d love to see more advanced automation options and customizable reporting features to fit different internal workflows better as we scale. But that is coming very soon.

The flexibility and functionality the product offers you as an IT manager. The level of integrations also allows a better level of detail when managing the estate on a daily basis. The application is easy to implement and we are really happy with Setyl and what we can do with it now and moving forward.

As of yet, i've not come across a negative. Any features or issues the team have ben very quick to react and make a reality.

User ownership, onboarding/offboarding - Managing these assets are now much easier as intune doesn't include monitors, test kit, headsets etc

We have found Setyl invaluable in managing the IT assets in our growing charity. It really saves us time and ensures we're making the best use of public funds in delivering our charitable objectives, by minimising any costs associated with mislaid equipment.

We're probably not using all of the features available, as we're quite a small operation.

Setyl is making sure we know what equipment we have, where it is and who is using it. This is very important for a small dynamic charity with limited administrative resources and with a need to be very careful what we spend.

What's best about Setyl is how simple it is to use and understand. Linking our data sources in is a breeze and then the system does all of the heavy lifting in matching different sources to avoid duplicates. Applications timeline helps us manage our software renewal dates. Setyl helps us with our onboarding and offboarding as well as renewal workflows and is an integral part of our daily routines. It also sorted a massive headache for us allowing us to give restricted access to some users in remote sites to help manage hardware assignments. Scannable Asset IDs and simplicity is all just an icing on the cake.

The only thing I wish it would have is a mobile app that's as easy to use as their web platform, having said that it is possible to do things in a browser on a mobile phone already.

Helps us track all our software and hardware assets with easy, connecting multiple sources into one easy to use system. Gives us a much better workflow for onboarding and offboarding to anything we've had before.

Being able to keep track of contracts and expenses has been everything that was expected from this app, with its administration management it has been possible to have everything in perfect order and better control than when using spreadsheets that did not supply all the tools that has Setyl.

It took me a while to learn how to use all the functions correctly, a well-specified manual with each use tool would have been of great help

Prior to using Setyl, we used a simple Google Doc to track all our IT assets. As you can imagine, that was not always the smoothest process. Within a month of using Setyl, we now have a handle on our asset management. Item's are tagged, assigned, and managed seamlessly through Setyl.
