Seeking Alpha has been great for me.

I sold a second home and started investing more in stocks. Quant analysis appeals to my math brain. Lots of trial and error on my part and I’ve learned a lot. Eventually signed up for alpha picks. While growing my portfolio account, I additionally decided to take advantage of my at work 401k which has an option to invest in a self directed schwab account. This works great with seeking alpha mostly because I don’t need to hold investments for a year. Many of the stocks peter out before the year is up. I like to hold great companies but when it’s time to sell it’s great not worrying about taxes. I made good money with the portfolio account; close to doubling my money in 2 1/2 years. The analysts are all over the place and I don’t rely too much on their articles. I have been burnt with smci and gct (great lessons learned) but my 401k that had 219k in June of 23 is now worth a little over 500k. Seeking Alpha has been great for me and I continue to adapt my strategy as I learn more.

I requested to cancel the subscription until I receive a corporate credit card to reactivate and upgrade subscription. Even though the subscription charge is non-refundable, Saroj Kumar Das checked with the manager to attain an approval to make one-time exception. Exception customer service creates happy, loyal customers. Best regards.
