Top-Notch Dashboards with SAS Visual Analytics

What do you like best about SAS Visual Analytics?

I find SAS Visual Analytics to be an excellent platform for dashboards. It's easy to use, and I really appreciate the capacity for analytic exploration. The interface is user-friendly, and I find it easy to import several datasets.

What do you dislike about SAS Visual Analytics?

I think SAS Visual Analytics could improve by expanding the graphical objects to better show outcomes.

What problems is SAS Visual Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use SAS Visual Analytics for dashboards and customer relationship management, improving the customer bottom line through simulation of new products or services.

F Seamless, Cohesive UI That’s Easy to Navigate

What do you like best about SAS Visual Analytics?

SAS Visual Analytics has a seamless and easy to navigate UI. I like the layout and how everything feels very cohesive .

What do you dislike about SAS Visual Analytics?

There's nothing that I disliked so far l, but with more time to play around in that environment, I'm sure I could find some opportunities. I don't know if things are customizable at all. If not, there may be some opportunities there.

What problems is SAS Visual Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?

Having such a great analytics offering within SAS would allow developers on my team to create reports and analytics and then create visualizations all within the same application.

Ease of use; ability for non-technical users to create dashboards

What do you dislike about SAS Visual Analytics?

There is a little bit of a learning curve to create really advanced dashboards; however, this should get easier with the new CoPilot feature.

Quickly visualizing clinical trials data for ad-hoc analyses from medical team

Clear images marshaling the data in support of the pilot contract at the Major Airline I work for.

Sometimes slow to load, or can be very slow to respond.

Converting every flight American Airlines have performed since 1998 into a story that needs to be told.

Seamless Integration

What do you like best about SAS Visual Analytics?

The best part about using SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office 365 is the fact that all the capabilities enable you to link your business processes by being able to automate business functions for better efficiency.

What do you dislike about SAS Visual Analytics?

The only down side to this functionality is that it comes at a cost, so this will be a deciding factor for businesses looking to adapt this functionality for their business.

Recommendations to others considering SAS Visual Analytics?

It will be good to involve your dev team in the integration.

What problems is SAS Visual Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?

Because we as a company use a large part of Microsoft Office 365, having a system that directly integrates with it, results in our business not having to change any of our other business processes.

Sometimes, performance can be an issue when working with large datasets or complex reports—especially in cloud environments. Optimizing for speed and responsiveness could make a big difference.

What problems is SAS Visual Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?

It solves the problem of limited visibility into data insights across teams. Now, stakeholders from different departments can access the same reports and dashboards, improving alignment and reducing time spent on manual reporting.
