What do you like best about Samsara?Ease of interfacing with other applications. User interface is very self-explanatory for first-time users. The handling of different aspects of our operation such as maintenance.What do you dislike about Samsara?Price for ELD's. During our initial ELD usage, Samsara was much higher for monthly subscription, and benefits were not much more.What problems is Samsara solving and how is that benefiting you?Since we have four times the trailers vs tractors, location tracking is essential to our operations.

What do you like best about Samsara?Having a dashboard to navigate safety, compliance, DVIRs and more all in one place is great.What do you dislike about Samsara?There is a lot of information to sort through. While I appreciate the constant updates, upgrades, additions, and growth, I wish there was more notice when things are going to change. Something like a calendar, to show upcoming changes as well as when previous changes went live would be very useful.What problems is Samsara solving and how is that benefiting you?Samsara is helping solve safety and compliance concerns and benefitting our business by helping us make data-driven decisions on training, marketing, and employee engagement efforts.

What do you like best about Samsara?Having truck movements, trailer details, and delivery progress accessible through the same system is a major advantage. I particularly like being able to check journey information without having to contact drivers for every update. The option to connect operational data with other business tools is useful as well.What do you dislike about Samsara?Location information does not always appear as quickly as we would like, especially when checking a vehicle's latest position. Some of the configuration options also take a little experimenting to get right. Making those settings easier to understand would improve the experience.What problems is Samsara solving and how is that benefiting you?Following transportation activity through separate channels can create unnecessary delays and extra communication. Samsara gives us a shared view of vehicle movements and delivery progress, helping us keep dispatch informed and respond when a journey changes unexpectedly. It also makes it easier to provide customers with more useful updates about their shipments.

What do you like best about Samsara?I appreciate the simplicity of using Samsara and the interconnection between the driver, their data, and the truck's data. It allows me to link a driver's driving and safety information to decide if I will assign them to a route and understand if fuel overconsumption is partly due to the driver but mainly due to a truck malfunction. The setup was very quick and simple from the start. Updates consistently bring more information.What do you dislike about Samsara?I find that there is a lack of detail in the information: I would like to know which drivers have driven a given truck, for how long, with what driving and rest times, and know the precise consumption per truck and per driver. For now, I mostly have an average of the vehicles a driver has driven. It should approach the level of detail of Volvo Connect, with information per driver or per truck.What problems is Samsara solving and how is that benefiting you?With Samsara, I can know where my trucks are, control dangerous behaviors on the road, and have a dashcam in case of an accident.

What do you like best about Samsara?Samsara gives us a much clearer picture of what's happening across our fleet. I find the combination of vehicle location, driver performance information, and operational reports especially useful. Instead of piecing together updates from different sources, we can review the information in one place and spot areas that need attention.What do you dislike about Samsara?Getting familiar with all the available tools takes some effort. There are features we may not use regularly simply because it isn't always obvious how they could fit into our workflow. A more tailored introduction for different types of fleet operations would make it easier to get full value from the platform.What problems is Samsara solving and how is that benefiting you?Managing fleet operations without a clear view of vehicle activity can make it difficult to spot problems early. Samsara helps us bring tracking, driver safety information, and fleet reports together, giving us a better understanding of what's happening on the road. This makes it easier to follow up on concerns, improve day-to-day coordination, and make decisions based on actual operational data rather than assumptions.

What do you like best about Samsara?I love the automatic uploads when there's a specific event, like sudden braking. We don't need to spend time searching for the event: Samsara directly provides us with the video. The initial installation went very well and was very quick.What do you dislike about Samsara?The event detection is not perfect: Samsara often sends me videos for sudden braking when it's just crossing a speed bump. The blurring of license plates is also not perfect, as too many elements are blurred in the videos.What problems is Samsara solving and how is that benefiting you?With Samsara dashcams, I can see what's happening on the road, understand collisions, send information to insurers, and train our drivers. Events are automatically uploaded with the video, without us having to search for the event.

What do you like best about Samsara?What I like the most is that Samsara acts as my eyes and ears on the road because I cannot be with every driver all of the time. It helps to prevent false auto liability claims for us and also paints a true picture of events of all incidents. I love the video retrieval function as well as the coaching functions. It has improved our overall effectiveness for driver safety.What do you dislike about Samsara?The only downside to Samsara that I have noticed for me is the calibration. Sometimes a driver will wipe his mouth and it detects that he is smoking. Or he has his hat pulled down too far and it detects obstruction or drowsy because it can't see his eyes.What problems is Samsara solving and how is that benefiting you?Samsara is solving the constant need to have ride alongs with every driver. It also solves the issue of backing up a story for police reports. IT supports our coaching for drivers and gives us great topics to coach on.

What do you like best about Samsara?The safety inbox and getting alert on my cell phone when there is an accident are very helpfulWhat do you dislike about Samsara?It sometimes runs very slow which causes delays in some servicesWhat problems is Samsara solving and how is that benefiting you?With everything being recorded we no longer have drivers able to use the excuse, I didn't do that.
