I have been using Timeslips for 30 years - the upgrades are very easy to adapt to - it's not like relearning a whole new program.

The price and that they have not made a program for Mac users.

If you want to spend this kind of money on a billing program, it is well

worth every penny. It's very user friendly and you don't have to do

Timeslips has helped our small law firm with our billing for many years. I enjoy the efficiency for getting our client bills out each month. The program itself is pretty easy to learn. It is very helpful when trying to calculate income for our new attorney staff.

My only dislike is that there is no difference between the 2018 version to any new version thereto. I believe some of the features are a bit outdated and could use some help. One feature that is quite horrid is when you go to select clients in the "generate bills" or "prebills" section, you have to individually select each client in the list. There is no "Select all". The only feature that helps a little is that you can "exclude or include" what you have individually selected. Either way, very frustrating at times.

If you have a small business, this software is great. It is an easy way to generate billing for the month and a good way to keep track of your client matters. I am a legal assistant who uses this program daily and I appreciate the ease of use. The only recommendation I have to anyone considering using this program is the size of your business. Smaller businesses seem to benefit more from this program, but I am also not an expert.

My only issue is stated above in the dislike section. With our firm being so small, its not an "end of the world" problem, but if a customer were to have hundreds of clients that needed to be selected, it could be very problematic and you could spend all day individually selecting clients. The best benefit to come from Timeslips is that it is the key to our firm. Billing clients=generating income=staying in business.

I like how easy it is to bill, record payments, print statements, and account receivable reports.

I don’t like that you can’t delete invoices once other invoices have been printed l.

We are able to print out various reports that we need to see the status of our accounts receivables.

Time slips is very customizable and allows you to customize the software to your liking.

It can be confusing when you need support since it so customizable. Agent do not sometimes understand issues in software.

Time slips has error messages depending on the windows version you’re running. It’s important to keep things updated.

It's easy to enter and correct time prior to billing. You can close old accounts, but easily open them again if necessary.

It takes a bit of practice, but once you get used to it everything is easy.

An all in one billing and client record.

I like how simple it is to use. Very basic.

That once you close the bills for the month and accept it, you can't go back and make any changes if I need to.

When it comes to the law world, its the best I seen in order to keep track of time and billing. It's easy to keep track of who you are billing and how much are you billing for.

The number of different pre-formatted bill formats is helpful, but a little overwhelming. I found it a little difficult formatting a bill if there was not one pre-formatted that I like.

Time and billing within my firm. Good reports to track the time and billing have provided useful insight to my firm with regard to the billable time and hours spent on various clients jobs.
