What do you like best about Sage 500?

It's a well rounded software. It can be used by various departments and not just accounting.

What do you dislike about Sage 500?

It could be difficult to work around it sometimes and if we needed help figuring out how to use it we had to pay a consulting fee.

What problems is Sage 500 solving and how is that benefiting you?

I used it to do accounting mainly. Also to do procurement.

What are the best aspects of this product?

Sage offers suitable products for companies of all sizes and the software is scalable to keep up with growth. Sage 500 ERP needs little training and you can learn to use it easily.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I have no complaints at all about Sage.

We use Sage 500 ERP for everyday entries and for monthly and yearly analysis.

It is easy to view project costs and other expenses Sometimes the software is very slow to load You can link to excel so you can analyse data further easy to use for purchase orders and invoices

Product is great, however it is coming to it's end of life

Sage has products for all sizes of companies, and the product can grow with each. It is easy to use and requires little training.

I have not found anything to dislike about Sage.

I like the simplicity of the system and the similarities to Quickbooks.

I dislike that there is not an import feature for data like Journal Entries,

Fairly user friendly. Easy to process transactions. Decent Cash reconciliation process. Ability to access data.

What do you dislike about Sage 500?

Reporting capabilities. Not easy to upload batch entries. Support is expensive. Software is somewhat dated.

Recommendations to others considering Sage 500?

Look at Sage's cloud based products.

What problems is Sage 500 solving and how is that benefiting you?

Problems with upgrading and compatibility with newer operating systems and integration with new Excel. Reporting capabilities are not ideal.
