SafetyStratus has the most amazing team. Their Customer Service, across the board, is top notch. The care they provide they provide leads to their product being user friendly as they walk you through until you feel like you can use the site with confidence.

Very few things were in the dislike list, other than available tools not being mentioned up front. This could be do to the extensive list of available tools.

SafetyStratus has met all of our needs, but data management can be difficult given the size and scope of the institution.

I appreciate the insights the data provide when you use the system to evaluate hazards and do inspections or incident investigations. I also liked that I was able to develop inspection templates and make modifications very easily to the system. In addition, when launching a self-inspection program for over 100 users, the system was very intuitive and took minimal to no training at all. Users gave great feedback on how simple it was to use.

There were times when it was difficult to clean up bad data (we had inputted) if we had already associated it with an inspection or a PI. Our naming convention for our bldgs and rooms was too complicated and we wanted to make changes - this was resolved and the support team at SafetyStratus was great to work with.

We are able to identify trends related to what hazardous conditions are present in the labs, as well as root causes - to target our training efforts as well other initiatives to identify ways to prevent the situation in the first place or sustain good practices.

I like that it is versatile for many sections within my whole department

It is difficult to work out the kinks in the programming. All of it is set up 'user specific' and it isn't user friendly when trying to look up information and complete fields. If the field you are needing to complete doesn't offer the information you need to put in that field from the drop down box, there isn't an option to manual complete.

Be very detailed in the information you are needing available when you log into your system and how you want your forms set up. Clearly explain what you need in your forms and data collection.
