We've been using Ruddr for over a year now, and it has become an indispensable part of our consulting practice. From project tracking and reporting to time entry and invoicing, the platform has helped us streamline operations, improve visibility, and save countless hours of manual effort.

The interface is intuitive, the features and documentation are very robust (which made it easy to customize the platform for our business), the integrations have reduced duplicate data entry across information systems, and everything feels purpose-built for a consulting business like ours. What really sets Ruddr apart, though, is their exceptional customer service. Their support and engineering teams are responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to helping us succeed. Every question or request has been met with a fast, thoughtful response—often going above and beyond our expectations. We have especially appreciated Ruddr's willingness to accept feature requests AND deliver on them. One time they turned around a request in less than 12 hours!

Being able to connect and set allocations via the API; the amount of reporting data available; the UX and ease of time submission

I would like to see more configurable available for reporting and for sending customized reminder emails (for notifications, late time, project kickoffs, etc.)

Giving the company insight into margin and profitability, as well as upcoming opportunities. It saves a lot of manual steps and make the process feel much faster.

Ruddr is extremely cost effective and provides a robust offering of features for invoicing, expensing, project management, and allocations. For a small business, it's critical to have cost effective tools as we grow, and Ruddr has been a game changer for us. Customer service is top notch, and the CEO himself is passionate about providing a great service and is wonderful to work with. I use it every day at work, and it integrates with other platforms easily.

Some of the features have limitations that make them unhelpful - e.g. an automatic report can be set up to run at specified intervals, but you can't pick the time range that you want the report to have. However, the limitations are understandable and Ruddr always works on improving their features if they're not immediately available.

Ruddr solves having data decentralized; the all-in-one gives a clear picture of our revenue, project management, and timekeeping.

It gives us everything we need to track time and invoice our customers. It's easy to train new people for our growing company. We get cool new features as the toolset grows. Support is very responsive, helpful, and friendly. So excited about the latest Expense report features on mobile app!

I've been using it for 4 years and still love it and very happy with my decision. It was easy to implement myself.

The reporting is still developing although you can download all of the information that you need and work with it in excel. The filters are great to help narrow down what you need and there are customer definable tags to help slice and dice but would love to have a few more features to make it really robust. The reporting continues to get better with each release (saved reports, scheduled reports, yay!) but the one thing that is frustrating is that the columns continually change as more fields are added (new fields are a good thing) and this makes repeatable automated editing impossible.

How easy it is to access and put in your hours.

I do not dislike anything at this point.

Quickly put in hours without needed to go through hoops and take away time.

Simple and easy to use. Nice to keep track of each project.

Reporting could be better maybe have the ability to export.

Keeping track of multiple resources on a project.

It's very user friendly and logically set up which reduced training for users a lot. Ruddr's implementation team did a great job explaining all features and integrations and made the implementation very efficient and easy (four weeks from kick off to go live).

Since our go live four months ago, important additional integrations were added (Rippling and HubSpot) and the support team was always available to support the implementation of the integrations.

There is nothing to really dislike, but some room for improvement:

Dashboards are set and not (yet) customizable

I liked all the things especially billing details expenses etc.. really liked a lot for this. easy to find all the things in single app and looking ui/ux also good

I have no dislike for this app. the only thing is I'm facing login issues in starting stage. facing password is wrong, if I enter a correct password that time also it's showing wrong only. that only my disappintment.

Sure i will recommend this application to my friends. because i loved to use this application its very smooth to use and manging times and all.

Yeah! I realized a lot from ruddr application because in previously i dont know how to manage my project details like time and all, but now i have good application for that. and i dont have any problem from ruddr. thank you.

Ruddr makes the idea of a project flexible enough to fit how your business actually operates. You can tailor each project with billing models like time and materials, fixed-fee, retainers, or custom milestones—whatever fits the engagement. It also offers deep visibility into performance and resource effectiveness, helping you understand where time is going, how teams are delivering, and whether you’re hitting financial targets.

One area I’d like to understand better is how the analytics are calculated some of the metrics and visualizations could use a bit more context or explanation. That said, it’s possible I haven’t fully explored the documentation or configuration options yet, so this might be more of a user issue than a product gap.
