My time using Rims

What do you like best about RIMS Computer Aided Dispatch?

I like the accountability factor and how I was able to back track in situations where something did not get done and identify exactly where the ball dropped whether it was us in dispatch or emergency services

What do you dislike about RIMS Computer Aided Dispatch?

there were too many categories and sub categories I wish that aspect had been more streamlined. It took me a while hope to get efficient at using it but once I did it was efficient

Recommendations to others considering RIMS Computer Aided Dispatch?

rims never seemed to change theor basic construct so unless they work on condensing some of the options I would say its not quite worth what it costs

What problems is RIMS Computer Aided Dispatch solving and how is that benefiting you?

It streamlined things for the most part there was still manual things o had to do outside of rims but it did make things noticeably easier. Was able to do my job more efficiently but toms was a small part of a larger process in my experience. Good solid software.

I like how useful and easy the software is to use.

The software still needs quite a bit of work. It has greatly been improved over the 10 years I have used it but there are still many bugs that can be easily fixed.

Recommendations to others considering RIMS Computer Aided Dispatch?

I would recommend this software to any small department.

The software solves many problems and allows my department to thoroughly document calls and incidents.
