RM contained all the functionality needed for medical device trials.

There could be greater user definition of some functions, for example naming the roles of the participants in studies follows different conventions at different sites, different countries and different disciplines. If there were an easy way to define and assign roles to site specifications it might make the program more user-friendly to investigators, coordinators, sponsors.

Data collection for FDA studies at worldwide sites for medical devices. It was readily adapted to our locations. However, we are just in a very early stage. So far, no glitches found related to the program.

I can keep track of the progress of the projects very easily.

You can adjust researchmanager completely to your needs, build specific blocks you want and adjust them during the studies.

There are no annoying pop-ups or errors, it just works well.

It is not always easy to copy certain blocks are parts to other blocks, but this is solvable.

Because of research manager I can perform my research project how I want it. It saves a lot of time to use a program as well as this one and that might just save lifes ;)

ResearchManager EDC helps us performing clinical trials and recording clinical data.

The program has user-friendly interface and is intuitive.

The option to send questionaires to patients and store and track these data is great.

Pre-programmed e-mails (containing for example questionnaires to patients) can only be send automatically at one timepoint.

The version control and the outline where all documents are stored. The way Research Manager makes it possible to choose the appropriate METC document from all possible documents is very handy. Also the fact that it is possible to upload all kind of document types, not only word or PDF. And the progress of reviewing is also informative.

Sometimes I upload documents and I feel like I saved them, but then I seem to not have saved them. Maybe it should be more clear whether new documents are already saved. That if, someone want to exit the page, an announcement (pop-up for example) comes up and notifies you about saving your documents before leaving the page.

Storage of documents and version control is simplified using Research Manager.

The scheme that gives an overview where in the process you are, with in green mentioned the current status of the process.

The fact that for my amentment, I had to upload my documents in a different screen than where i had to upload the documents for the main submission. This was confusing.

Research Manager is really helpful to keep track of all the different studies that take place in the hospital and helps you to organize your files for each study.

De samenwerking verloopt erg goed, er is veel mogelijk in het programma en dit wordt ook goed aangegeven door de consultant. Ook wordt er goed meegedacht hoe andere centra werken en wat dus in jullie eigen centrum nuttig zou kunnen zijn.

Het is best tijdsintensief om alle stappen te doorlopen en tot een werkend resultaat te komen, wat ook begrijpelijk is gezien de hoeveelheid informatie die erin moet komen te staan. De verwachting was dat dit zeker een half jaar zou duren, wat uiteindelijke ook wel bleek te kloppen.

Het is erg prettig dat je direct een overzicht hebt van alle studies, zowel lopende als in voorbereiding. Zo is het ook voor arten direct inzichtelijk waar ze bij betrokken zijn en kunnen zij, bijvoorbeeld, makkelijk een PIF of protocol vinden.

Ook is het fijn dat je direct kunt zien in welke 'stap' van het opzetten van het onderzoek je bent, zodat je hier eventueel op kunt participeren wanneer dit te lang zou duren.
