An efficient EDI Solution that works with older inventory systems
What do you like best about RedTail EDI?
Once it's set up, it just works. Our team is able to use it without any problems. It rarely has any issues and is very reliable.
What do you dislike about RedTail EDI?
Setup and Configuration can be tricky. Moving the software to a new server can be incredibly difficult. Had to use a Hex editor at one point to change some settings.
What problems is RedTail EDI solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provides and EDI solution that is compatible with Sage Business Vision (pervasive database). It's hard to find any program these days with this capability.

What do you like best about RedTail EDI?
Very helpful customer support if you need them. I have called in the past for assistance and they were extremely helpful. Very quick and responsive. It's nice that you'll be dealing with one person for support issues.
What do you dislike about RedTail EDI?
The user interface could be prettier. Also, when there is an issue, the error messages that are given to the user are not very user friendly.
Recommendations to others considering RedTail EDI?
If you need an EDI solution that is compatible with Sage Business Vision, it's great.

An "Okay" EDI solution.
What do you like best about RedTail EDI?
The solution was capable of supporting the volume required for our EDI transactions.
What do you dislike about RedTail EDI?
In general, we had dissatisfaction in their support as a full EDI partner and there are other better EDI partners out there. We were looking to change partners when I left the company who was using RedTail. When we had production issues, support had a lengthy turnaround time.
