I love how integrated Redtail can be with various other pieces of software you may use. In our practice, we have Redtail integrated into our email and planning software, and are also able to connect it to any number of other pieces. I also like the calendar view on Redtail and how we are able to segment permissions for each staff member. The ability to build complex workflows is pretty amazing, and allows my practice to follow each piece of business completely through. This keeps us from missing opportunities and other service issues as well.
Redtail can be challenging to work with to get the initial setup and understanding done. Especially the workflows -- getting those set up properly is definitely a challenge. Once they are set they are wonderful, but has been challenging to properly implement.
Redtail helps largely in two ways: integrations and workflows. The integrations save time once set up by allowing multiple tools to be on one platform. The workflows help immensely by keeping each process set and each staff member is responsible for their own pieces.
Redtail is highly user-friendly and easily navigatable. They have weekly training webinars to make life manageable.
Haven't found anything yet not to like with the system.
The system allows you to find errors in accounts.
Redtail having the ability to bring all customers data including the mails and documents related to one account in single page beside it have secured documentation process ,The best in redtail is the mobile accessibility and amendments and adding new documents or new notes manually from mobile . All the accounts and customers data are organized perfectly and this is the most important beside territory and location categorization and classification, Actually it was helpful in new campaigns in new territories
The extracted reports needs enhancements beside the customer support need to respond earlier but the rest of functions are doing great
We used Redtail in Managing customer Relationships beside complying with the internal Compliance policy and the documentation process ,Redtail gives the ability to us for storing all customers data with secured process beside that the customers profiles are customer
Redtail helps keep client info at your fingertips. The software is straightforward to use, and the learning curve is very low once you are in the system for a couple of weeks. A lot of reports and software are customizable. Overall, I have been very pleased with the system's functionality and how it keeps me organized to do my job well.
If there is anything to dislike about the software, it would be that some of the interface looks a little outdated compared to some of the other softwares on the market. However, this is purely preference. I really do not have anything to knock on about Redtail's software.
Redtail helps us stay organized and on top of client tasks and meetings. It's best used for schedule optimization. When you have a large clientele base, software like Redtail is a must-have if you want to be efficient and make sure that all your clients are being taken care of regularly. The benefits have been efficiency, time management, schedule organization, etc.
When you search or add people to your CRM they made it super easy to locate clients and add them. I like the fact I'm able to log in and search for a name. It can be by first or last name.
It glitches once in a while and you will lose all your information. If you go into a contact the back out of it you sometimes have to search again because it clears out your search information.
The overall product is great. If you have someone just leading a system it's great. You can do the how-to videos and learn all the items you need to.
I haven't tried to solve any problems, however if you have questions or need help with something they are always willing to help. They also have several how-to videos as well
This tool is incredibly robust. Offers reports, CRM management, email capture and many other amazingly convenient operations. Plus the customer service is outstanding and that in my opinion is what makes or breaks the software.
There is nothing that I dislike about Redtail CRM
We are the financial investment/planning industry and we can capture all our information for the client, attach documents, and integrate with other programs we use daily. It is exceptional.
The program is very functional. Any needs of documenting information are right at your finger tips. It is also cost effective in terms of time. I'm no longer having to transfer and format information from one place to another. It is also fun to use! I enjoy the layout, the colors, and the myriad of resources available to me. The tutorials were really helpful getting me acclimated to the site. Without the guidance of those instructors, I think I would be on the phone with customer service more than I would like.
I have to manually override the workflow because the system can't tell that the workflow are related. I also don't like the way reporting is done. If I want to count total clients (husband and wife for instance) I have to export the data, print it out, and count both people together. This just seems like more work than it needs to be. I also don't like the organization of the homepage. I don't like having the events in a small boxes. They need to pop out on the screen more.
Use ALL of its available features. Attend a seminar where their trainers walk you through all of the tips and tricks to get the most of the site. I was able to learn a lot through the actual doing of the work and activities. Also make sure to utilize the tutorials and how-tos which have me so much more confidence to start using the program.
How to be more efficient in solving problems and getting client projects done. I'm enjoying the process of streamlining all of my client interactions so that once a task is completed it knows exactly what workflow to choose next. I'm also moving away from the pen and paper method of documenting. I can create follow up activities based on the notes that I've taken for clients.
The way you can assign tasks to individuals. Makes things so much easier to organize on a daily basis. Keeps appointments on schedule and makes them easier to be able know what is going on pithing the appointments themselves. We use the AUM to keep tract of incoming assets so that we know at all times roughly how much we have in AUM. WE enjoy that when a client does a riskalyze assessment, it automatically shows up in the client notes.
The data feed for the AUM does not always link up annuities which can be a pain to view clients portfolios. We would like to have redial possibly sync with individual annuity companies to see truly what AUM we have/ We try to use the data imaging but find it that we don't always remember they were upload.
Redtail is designed as a template, but depending on your individual work environment, you may have to tailor to fit your needs. But it does work!!!
Time management, getting tasks done quickly. We may have as many as 6 appointments in a day, so the fact that redtail has integrated with note taking services means a lot to us. There are many times that these services allow us to put in notes in as little as 5 minutes, which redtail then intergrates. That can save us a lot of time trying to remember what the appointment was about. We also enjoy the calendar portion of the redtail. This allows us to see what appointments we have coming up or what tasks we need to get done.
Ability to track EVERYTHING at our firm.
Not much reporting can be done on seminars-- we would like to be able to pull reporting on seminars that crosses with activities-- so we can see how many from each seminar scheduled each appointment type!
Highly recommend it. Our productivity and efficiency has skyrocketed since we switched to Redtail.
