I appreciate how easy and cost-effective ReciPal is to set up, which stood out to me right from the beginning. The software significantly aids me in the labeling process, especially in creating nutrition facts labels, ingredient lists, and allergen statements. These features are incredibly valuable for ensuring accurate and compliant labels, which is crucial in my workflow. I find the efficiency of the labeling feature irreplaceable, as it streamlines the task and reduces the complexity typically involved in that process. The fact that I am not currently using any other software alongside ReciPal speaks to its comprehensive functionality that meets a substantial number of my needs. I am highly satisfied with its performance, to the extent that I would definitely consider purchasing it again in the future. Its easy usage, affordability, and exemplary features make it a standout tool for anyone in need of detailed label creation.

I dislike that not all ingredients are available in ReciPal.

I use ReciPal for the labeling process, particularly creating nutrition facts, ingredients, and allergens statements, which simplifies compliance and saves time.

Using the ReciPal online interface was straightforward and easy. I was able to create in a step-by-step fashion, check my work, and revise repeatedly until the label that was generated reflected exactly how I wanted my product presented nutritionally, all with a high level of confidence that the information was correct.

The platform ensures that you get it right - or as close as possible - as there are numerous rules and regulations for nutrition labeling in recipe generation. As someone unfamiliar with nutrition food labeling and new to the business, creating my own labels on ReciPal was educational as well as solving the problem of needing nutrition information for my product.

Big fan of it's simple features, easy onboarding, and quick customer service from the founder Lev.

Their ingredient catalogue covered perhaps 70% of my needs. There were ingredients I had to upload or research when it came to raw products.

I would advise recipe makers to have a list of their ingredients ahead of time, take pictures of all the nutritional labels, and go down the checklist to verify if ReciPals database info matches yours.

I really like how once I put a recipe in I can scale it or make changes.

Downsides, well for me there are none. Why I am still using it all these years.

Keeping track of costs and recipes. Both are very important to my business.

I used ReciPal for our first product nutrition label and when we were ready to add a second, I tried a different system just to see how it was. No comparison. It was so difficult to add new ingredients, so back to ReciPal we went. Will definitely use it again when we expand.

Not really knowing much about the industry, I can't say anything bad about it.

As our company grew we needed to start adding a nutritional panel to the label. Now we don't have to worry about adding it later when we actually need it.

ReciPal is a great tool for creating nutrition labels and managing recipes. The email service is responsive, the nutrition fact generator is easy to use, and the first three recipes are free.

Solve me professionally creating a nutrition fact table for our products, as I don't wish to misleading information so ReciPal helps me a lot on this part.

Some functionality is limited with respect to larger scale projects.

The bar code solution worked well. Labeling was also good. Nutritionals were accurate and helped with compliance.

It's a very user friendly and if you don't understand it, the company is very helpful and responds to inquiries within 24 hours. I find it very straight forward and easy to us. It is similar to the Genesis program but less costly. The program also offers different label generators and are up to date with the new FDA requirements.

Although the program had verified products, they should continue to grow it's database for accurate recipe data. I also don't like the monthly payment, I think a pay as you go program can work best for both parties with the option to continue to edit and change information for free. I also think having the option to have them input your recipes would be helpful. I have some friends that have tired to used the program but are so busy they can't get around to start.

The best way to get accurate information with this program is to input all recipe in grams. If you're using cups and volume measure it and weigh it in grams. That will insure you get the most accurate reading for your recipes.

The monthly payment can be costly but they work with you. Using the program has helped me start my own food business and a great way to store and maintain recipe data. I can go in and edit recipes with ease and also print a variety for labels for different packaging options. I have been using the new Nutritional Label on my packages and customers love being able to see the amount of added sugar being used.
