QuickBooks is easy to use and integrate with our current accounting processes. I've had to reach out to customer support a few times, and they are extremely fast to respond to any issues that have come up. Once banking is connected, everything is a piece of cake.

QuickBooks does not have many (if any) downsides.

One feature I find particularly beneficial is its smooth integration with Intuit ProConnect tax preparation software. This connection enables me to transition from bookkeeping to tax prep without the hassle of switching between different systems, making my workflow more efficient and ensuring consistency throughout. Additionally, QBOA offers opportunities for professional development, continuing education, and certifications, all of which contribute to building and expanding my practice. It’s more than just software—it’s a platform that actively supports career advancement and credibility within the accounting industry.

Although the training and certifications offered are excellent, the interface may initially seem a bit overwhelming, particularly for those who are new to handling multiple clients. There is definitely a learning curve, and certain features could be designed to be more intuitive. Furthermore, even though the integration with ProConnect is robust, there are occasional syncing delays that can be frustrating, especially during peak filing periods.

I like the ability to manage all clients within one profile.

New features are constantly being added/improved, but that also means menu locations are constantly changing.

Books Review. GST Centre and the integration with Lodge IT for electronic signatures and BAS authorisations. Easy to switch between clients. Easy to edit Chart of Accounts. Fantastic Reporting - with plenty of customisation options. Integrates easily with many addon software like Dext. And... you get great software support!!

Personally I dislike the loose matching criteria for bank feeds - a 1 year range can be painful. Awareness/knowing this is the best way to manage this until it is resolved.

Client Bookkeeping and BAS lodgement. Allows for a consistent regular process that saves on admin time.

The ease of it to navigate, understand, use. Easy to implement for my clients; easy for staff to understand, the training available, if I ever need anything customer support is always helpful. I literally use the software every day all day, The number of features, add ons, and be able to integrate with other software has made my life easy.

None at this time. Like having all the features it does.

I like that Quickbooks Online is such a widely used and trusted platform I can add clients seamlessly, run my own firm's financials quickly and clearly, and also have options for how I manage client accounts such as wholesale or just added as a user.

There are a number of banks that do not connect easily to the bank feed. There is also not a way to bulk add Payees as there is in bulk category reclassification which can be a tedious task that comes up relatively often for us.

We are able to run our own business financials and reporting through the software and also manage all our client's books and financials from one platform, which is essential in our business.
