Advanced security features and planned hardware replacement plans. Support team is great to work with and fast to respond. Implementation is made easier with a fully built out system and Pure built drives. Administrative use easy based on common admin console configuration.

It could be difficult to explain the higher upfront cost and the hardware replacement subscription. Some terminalogy did unique to Pure but makes sense once you are aware.

Wet like all the features of pure storage

We use pure storage for our flash array for our virtual machines.

When setting up this system, you are partnered with a team that goes out of their way to make sure you understand the product. They also provide peace of mind when a potential disaster event approaches your area by letting you know they are also monitoring your systems remotely

There wasn't much to dislike about this setup. You are teamed up with knowledgeable people that would check in on you periodically. Annual system checks helped to review your current state and make any needed adjustments

We used it to simplify storage provisioning as well as quickly restoring snapshots within the Pure storage arrays. It also provided a single dashboard to review geographically located systems.

We have multiple arrays across different geographic locations. It helps us to monitor and report under a single pane; we don't need to log in individually on every other system. Also, support and renewals can be managed for all systems.

Sometimes, the mobile app doesn't function properly and takes a lot of time to load. Also, there are limited features on the mobile application.

Pure is solving the problem of management and planning. I can go into the arrays and move some storage to another collection or move the workload to this array. It is a beneficial tool. Its prediction algorithms help us in generating detailed reports.

Easy forecasting of storage capacity. Very intuitive experience and liked the no-hassle set-up.

Amazingly quick flash storage platform. Slick and easy to use interface. Simple setup and ongoing management and configuration. Maybe the best support of any vendor I've seen. Also very simple, clear and easy to explain quotes and support options that include hardware replacement if needed.

We have not come across anything that I would consider a dislike or negative feedback. The only issue we have encountered is related to ISCSI setup, not specific to Pure itself. They really make it easy to use and manage.

Try it, you won't be disappointed. They allow for on-site demos/trials, and we couldn't believe the results.

We migrated from a Dell Compellent SAN to a Pure Flash Storage array. For half the cost, we were able to replace 360TB of SAN storage onto a 48TB array in Pure. Amazing difference and way easier to manage and support, let alone the quote and invoice are literally two line items, where the Compellent was dozens and sometimes into the hundreds making it so confusing to support and renew. Pure makes it as simple as you want.

Pure storage made our storage architecture and management 100 times easier. We also have the ability to manage our storage with Pure One from anywhere (mobile app). They also have the best support in the business. I am amazed at how they detect issues and let us know about them before we even know about it. Highly recommend this product 10/10.

The price is really the only downside to this product as it is not cheap vs traditional storage arrays. They make up for it in support and the overall product that they provide.

The support that pure has is second to none. If you are short staffed and need to get your storage under control I highly recommend you take a look at pure storage.

Storage management

Flat licensing ensures that there are no surprises or gotchas. Support is proactive and has identified any issues prior to us even knowing about them.

QC can be strict, ActiveCluster or other new features are eased into, and have very strict requirements to use during initial releases.

We use Pure Storage for all block level access in our virtual server environment and VDI environments to allow all servers and workloads operate very fast and reliably.

Cost-effective flash storage, highly effective deduplication means cost effectiveness is even higher, has most features that historical storage vendors have, HA that works, RAID type is awesome.
