There is a good balance between having overall flexibility in how different project types are run, tracked, and measured with an overall rigor that helps keep data consistent and usable.

They both know the product extremely well, were very responsive to our requests, and did a great job leading us.

For a software development company that uses Jira to track the development effort, Projector's integration with Jira needs a significant amount of work. The process for getting time into Projector from another system is a bit cumbersome.

Per the title, the software itself is first class - we looked at many competitors in the PSA sector but Projector stood out as being uniquely logical, understandable, stable, and complete, but with sufficient flexibility that there is generally a pretty decent way of doing things if you have organisational 'quirks'. The interface is user-friendly, well laid out, and powerful, making the acquisition of data and management information quick and easy.

However, where Projector stands out is at implementation; from the point of pre-sales, the Projector team were honest, open, knowledgeable, and approachable - incredibly easy to work with. However, implementing a Projector in an organisation that was itself a software implementor was eye-opening in all the right ways. We had a tight timescale; no problem. Needed careful budget management; no problem. Out-of-session questions; no problem. Self-help materials - and I had a good idea of the time and effort that has to go into these sorts of things - no problem.

In short, Projector were an absolute pleasure to work with and I cannot commend them highly enough.

Nothing; the product is mature and well thought through by people that clearly understand their target sector.

Projector has revolutionised time capture and reporting. Most immediately this is manifested in an invoicing process that used to take the best part of a month to close out, that now takes 3-4 working days. Management reporting across a range of areas has immeasurably improved, especially in the realms of close-to-real-time data and reporting.

The layout for the program and menu tab choices are organized and easy to follow.

I don't have any dislikes. Any issues for invoicing or creating reports, on how the program works are either in the self-help guide OR through customer service

Once PSA is configured to specification, there is a tremendous economy of scale created. Whether it is a new resource, project or invoice, the system is built for improving efficiencies and enabling scalability. My favorite part about the system is the Projector BI integration. We've been able to build org monitoring, project management and resource management dashboards that allow us to get all of the information we need to run the company more efficiently while spending less time doing so. The resource & project management dashboards have enabled our teams to be able to manage themselves. They now have all of the information they need at their fingertips to successfully manage their clients and their own goals.

I think the user-friendliness of the Reporting section and Invoice template creator can be improved.

Get into Projector PSA early while your resource count is under 20. You will thank yourself when you get to 50 and 100.

Project management, resource management and org monitoring have all been improved. Our information was in silos before and the team was flying blind. Projector PSA has allowed us to have all of our critical business information in one system and build reporting dashboards via Projector BI to display that data in a user-friendly format.

It nails the complexity of managing financial reporting and operational teams management. It's able to support the different business cases related to Revenue recognition.

The system is very robust, I feel the UX has room for improvement.

- Integrating different processes like staffing, Financial and accounting for our projects

The reporting - including the ability to leverage PowerBI for reporting - is very compelling. The reporting allows us to look across the business and dive deep into a project's performance.

Due to Projector's broad capabilities, it can take some time to become an expert in the tool.

We have used Projector to manage our pipeline, projects, billing and expenses. I'm grateful to have 1 system that supports so much of our business.

We have been using Projector for about 10 years.

We initially rolled it out to replace our outdated timesheeting. From there we moved on to project management, resource management, forecasting and revenue recognition.

As our processes have matured we have found that Projector as a tool has everything that we could possibly need, and more, already baked in.

Its strengths are:

- For individual users the timesheet and expense claim systems are well designed

- Forecasting

- Revenue recognition

- Resource management

- Tracking projects against budgets

- Powerful customised report building functionality

- Integration with SalesForce

- The administration of the system is highly configurable and flexible, but not too complicated to manage

Projector is relatively easy for end-user, billable staff to use; but it is a powerful tool for project managers, and the power makes the system complex. PMs require a fair amount of training before they become effective in the tool.

Projector is in the process of migrating away from a downloadable executable. The migration is largely complete, but the executable is still required for detailed project management and administration of the application.

Projector has no equal when it comes to forecasting and revenue recognition.

If monitoring and reporting on the financial performance of projects are important to you, then Projector is the best of breed solution available.

We use the tool for:

- Forecasting and revenue recognition

- Timesheet logging and time approval

- Expense capture and approval

- project management - detailed planning and resource management

- programme management

- reporting, especially on utilisation rates and project budget tracking

- tracking project delivery against initial budgets

The biggest single benefit is that we now have a tight integration across our sales pipeline, project delivery, forecasting and revenue recognition. This means we have a high level of trust in the data.

The ability to see who has been allocated to what work, who is overallocated, and who has capacity is of great use to us.

I love the way the data is organized. It allows me to do detailed Power BI reports

I have not yet found a downside to using ProjectorPSA.
