ProgeCad is similar to the AutoCad features. It has less expensive compare to Autocad.

This is expert in 2D drawing only not in 3D.some times it will crash.

Cost will reduce compare to AutoCad.

I like it because progeCADs quite affordable even though it has some limitations in terms of its interface and advanced features.

It does offer features to AutoCAD at a price point there can sometimes be issues when sharing files with users of different programs. This could be problematic if your company heavily relies on collaborating with clients or partners using CAD software.

This benefits my business by allowing us to access CAD tools at a cost while still maintaining functionality.

.The progeCAD is a perfect software to work with I think the 3D tools were the thing I liked as we could see from different fixed angles

The progeCAD doesn't have anything to be disliked but while working with 3D tools I couldn't view them in 3D like I did not know how to see from Z Axis as per my wish

As an alternative to autocad, this software is just incredible. Not only it feels just the same as if you were using autodesk software, the commands are so similar that the learning curve for using it is basically non existent, and the graphic interface is almost identical. Plus this comes with the fact that this software is significantly cheaper than autocad.

The only downside I have had with progecad is the fact that when opening DWG files created with it on autocad, my clients have had some issues, and since autocad is the industry standard, this is a huge problem. Also I have found that using progecad tends to consume lots of ram memory and my computer gets slowed down.

If you have a vast amount of resources in your company, I definetly recommend using autocad since it is the industry standard and you won’t have those compatibility issues. However if you are on a budget progecad won’t let you down, it is extremely powerful and it is definetly the most complete alternative to autocad. You might want to invest in a good pc for you to have streamlined experience.

We have used progecad as an alternative to autocad when our budget wouldn’t allow us to renew our licenses, and at those times it has been extremely beneficial for us. We created industrial DWG designs just as great as if they were created with autocad, and it allowed us to keep designing in spite of our financial problems.

The price is at least 1/2 of Autodesk's AutoCAD software. That is a huge positive, especially for smaller businesses. And it is compatible with AutoCAD.

There is nothing I disliked, because it is exactly like AutoCAD, and I love AutoCAD.

It is a good product and is almost exactly like AutoCAD, but cheaper.

The price of this is a major benefit, I think, especially for a smaller business.

The best thing I like about ProgeCAD is the strecth function allows HATCH to stretch along, no matter it is associative or not.

ProgeCad is a Cad software used to create 2D drawings and 3D models. It contains the same features as Autocad, but the importance of using this software is that it is so much cheaper than other design software available in the market.

Well, the software is less costly due, to that there are certain disadvantages with regards to its features such as it runs very slow with large files such as those containing images or contours, image rendering quality is poor.

It is helpful in creating 3D models and utilizing them to create 2D drawings with reference to the 3D models such as windows, walls, doors, etc. Another major advantage is that it supports similar formats as those of autocad, commands and files. It doesnot requires monthly subscription, it is only available for users via perpetual license, which is helpful for users to install the program in two different systems.

If you are a draftsman, designer, or architect who is using autocad to create precise drawings or technical illustrations that same things can be done in progeCAD with less cost at a price of 1/10 with regards to Autocad.

This software is cheaper due to that it has certain limitation with regards to interface, it does creates 3D models but there are no advanced features. The rendering of the model is not that much quite good compared to other market softwares.
