The fact that ProfitWell automates custom emails to my clients that have a failed payment with a link to add their new card. This saves my team hours every week from chasing down clients.

I dislike literally nothing about Retain
Before Retain, AR was really starting to pile up and all outreach to customers for failed payment was a pretty manual thing. Where we did automate stuff, the user experience wasn't great. Retain's user experience is more thought out than what we'd have created on our own, it saved me precious dev time, and keeps working every single month.
The product makes my live easier and provides insightful reporting and analytics to help me measure our success! I also loved working with their team, awesome experience.
The data does not always allign perfectly but this is mainly due to issues with our subscription management tool and only requires a quick comparison.

That retain test andimproves our failed payment emails and smart retries based on industry level data helping us decrease involuntary churn and gives us the reporting to prove it.
The transparency of the service itself and the awesome support! First off, our account exec, Leo, was extremely quick to reply on any questions I had and checked in regularly throughout the trial - I was never worried about lack of support. I have to give a shoutout to Alex as well who helped out with a bunch of more technical concerns I had in regards to recent changes we had made and how those would impact the Retain trial. Both Leo and Alex made the decision to continue with Retain easy! Not to mention, it's a great service for recovering failed payment churn and incredibly easy to setup. We had plans to implement similar strategies to what Retain uses, but we had higher priority projects on the go and who knows how long it would have taken to get to it - going with Retain meant we could take advantage of their optimized strategies immediately and save ourselves the development time.
I don't have any dislikes to mention so far.
We noticed that our failed payment churn wasn't great, and that is exactly what Retain resolves!

So far, all offered services are excellent!
We had problems with Failed transactions that was a cause of high churn. One of the benefits is simplicity of the product, where user can enter updated payment info simply without log in to the app/dashboard.
I've greatly enjoyed the access I feel to the CEO's churn reduction expertise through great interactive webinars as well as the one on one support with our rep. Their analysis systems have also been very strong and we feel that we have experts with us to reduce our churn rates.
We've yet to make a lot of progress on what we've already been doing, however they have offered us several new ideas to try.
We are keeping customers from quitting due to payment issues. We also are getting solid tools to analyze and segment our customers we've never had access to before.
ProfitWell Retain is a solution for managing recurring subscriptions. we havent encountered any dissatisfaction. Its worth mentioning that occasionally the data may not align perfectly.. Overall our experience is positive.
The resolution process for failed payment churn could be more efficient.The analytics and customer segmentation tools are advantageous updating payment information through the app/dashboard.

One of the benefits of ProfitWell Retain is its easy-to-use interface. The software is designed to be user-friendly, with a simple and intuitive interface that makes it easy to navigate and use. This has been helpful for us as we don't have a dedicated retention team, as it enables us to manage our retention efforts more effectively.
We use Stripe and it's not quite the same numbers which can be frustrating as you tie in the data from them.

Super easy setup for term optimization, meaning trying to convert monthly users to annual.
I didn't like the fact that it's impossible to edit the emails through the platform, instead it needed to go through the Profitwell team.
2 main problems:
1. Delinquent churn: Profitwell REtain allows us to automatically emails the users that their payment method is no longer valid and have them update their details.
2. Term optimization: trying to convert monthly users to annual.

It suits well for non techies like myself. All I had to do was read the documentation once. It was so easy to understand that I knew exactly what I had to do afterwards.
They are not clear about what data they collect about us in their terms and conditions. It is concerning for us. We've also contacted ProfitWell Retain support team in this regart but we haven't got any satisfying response yet.
