I can easily file my client's tax return from QuickBooks Online.

ProConnect is efficient, client-friendly, technologically enhanced and supports my cloud-based business seamlessly. My clients love the portal and the support I've received when needed has been top-notch.

I wish there were more affordable options for users like me who only file 30-50 tax returns per year.

ProConnect allows me and my clients to be extremely flexible in how we communicate. It's safe, accesible and a true time-saver.

ProConnect Tax Online is very easy to use and what I like most about the software it that it is cloudbased. Since it it cloud based I can access the software anywhere using any device with an internet connection and it auto saves my changes as I am entering a tax return. Also, it automatically completes a backup of all the data without me having to do so myself.

I have no dislikes about using ProConnect Tax Online.

ProConnect Tax Online make it easier to finish tax returns and highlights whenever there are errors that must be resolved on a tax return.

I like the most is the interface. It is easy to use and understand, the graphics are friendly and not like a traditional view like UTax. I also like how it is connected with QBO.

What I don't like is the inability to set up the KBA prior to sending the Docusign to clients

As a visual learner, I rely more on the interface - the look and the familiarity. This will benefit me once I train other people who are new to ProConnect.

Automatic program updates

Same program format and style as Lacerte

PTO apparently does not generate a tax organizer with prior year reference amounts like Lacerte does.

Data import function does not correctly transfer some items (e.g., consolidated 1099 items).

I love the convenience of system and how interactive it is with users.

The downsides are that ProConnect does not allow refund advance.

proconnect tax is benefiting me by ltting me assist all my customers needs.

How fast it saves data that we input into the system. Its very easy to use. The customer support is excellent if you have any questions. We are happy with the overall integration and the improvements the team has been working on!

The overrides are still sometimes a bit unclear.

Working through various integration has been key and has been very cool to see the growth.

ProConnect Tax is very easy to use and is always up to date.

The only downside of ProConnect Tax is the delay in State form availability. Depending on the State, the delay in the ability to file State returns is sometimes slow.

ProConnect is web based so it allows me to access returns from anywhere. Also the additional features such as Link and importing making completing returns easy.

The best part of PTO is the ability to log in from any computer. I can work at my office, at home, or on vacation without worrying about safetey, security, or additional software costs. The cost per year is affordable as an early-adopter who meets the renewal deadline. The software is easy to teach new employees who have limited to no tax experience to do basic input. It allows for multiple users to be linked to the same tax return and has a wealth of "tax return status" options that my team members can use to quickly verify a client's status. I like the "check return" and "suggestion" features.

PTO is not the best option for high-volume firms since you pay-per-return. My firm does about 200-250 returns per year and the price is competitive with ProSeries for that number of returns. Personally, I struggled to integrate old returns from ProSeries into PTO, but due to the remote nature of my work it was worth the additional hassle to make the switch.

You have full control of tax forms and data entry. ProConnect has guided steps and suggestions to avoid mistakes. ProConnect Software is full cloud base which means you can work on tax returns from anywhere online. And lastly, Proconnect allows you eFile forms and requests documents and signature remotely and many more features.

I really do not have any dislikes. I really like the ProConnect

It provides me access to all personal and business tax forms that I need to file for my clients.
