ProBoards is the best free forum provider we looked at in my opinion, although we stopped using it for whatever reason. Although we only tested it out for a short while, I really liked it when we used it.

This is a small and usual complaint, but I dislike that you have to pay a yearly fee to maintain the domain name. It’s oretty low as far as fees go so it’s not terrible though!
