The Predictive Index helped my organization develop a better sense of awareness amongst our staff team. It allowed us to gather high level information to assist us in the decision making process of hiring new team members and assigning the right fit to each role within our organization. The tool is easy to use and has a various helpful features, not to mention the support our implementation specialist provided.
Once you get a little of the Predictive Index, there's an insatiable desire to want more!
The Predicitve Index helps my organization identify the right behavir attributes to match team members to roles that they are likely to thrive in.
I really enjoy the science behind the entire model. Some companies only use a version of the behavioral and I don't think it goes as in-depth as PI.
I would like easier tutorials so I can send it out to employees to learn on their own. I also would like to manipulate the date before I export it to a CSV. I would like the overall score for both behavioral and cognitive on the individual folders page and not the job-specific page.
Focusing on getting the right people in the right seats to minimize turnover.
I love how personalized it can be and how many options there are for using the data. People really enjoy getting into the details.
Some aspects of it are a little vague and I'd love to see more detail - such as the interpersonal one to one relationship analysis. I'd also love to see info about people who are in the same reference profile but slightly different patterns within that profile.
We have a lot of remote people or teams that have multiple personalities. This has been really helping with communication and understanding.
The interview guides taylor questions to help you narrow down who the best candidate is for the position your are hiring for. It is also a great tool to assist in coaching current employees and understanding why they operate the way they do. Very easy to use and I have used it for no less than four major hirings in 2023.
I have not found a down side to using PI
No product is perfect, especially when providing insight into the thought process of humans, but PI really helops to cut through the confusion.
It was an insight to see what my strengths and weaknesses are, after completing the Index.
Some of the wordage, I had no idea what some of the words meant.
It helped me, by showing what my strengths and weaknesses are. And how it correlates in the working environment.
The predictive index is accurate for working styles. Amazing for how short a test it is. Included in the software are tons of tools and resources you can use to make hiring decisions, help teams to work efficiently and even find a cross-functional team that will work best together. The customer service from our local PI location is wonderful and they genuinely care about our company.
Nothing! I don't have any bad words to share.
Helping to find the right candidates for the roles we have to fill.
Our PI expert, Krishna Rajagopal, has been absolutely invaluable throughout our journey. The level of insight, guidance, support, and patience he has coupled with a fantastic level of professionalism and attitude make us look forward to every opportunity to work together. The insight provided by the PI reporting enables our team to communicate and support each other better as well.
My own personal learning curve and the time I have to allocate to really utilizing the PI program to the fullest is the only negative aspect to PI. I do wish we were able to create more departmental teams as we are limited to 3 but have more than 3 departmental teams.
The insight provided by the PI reporting enables our team to communicate and support each other as well as utilize team building, engagement, and employee development.
The accuracy of the results and the interview guide,
There is a lot of administration work on our end to get the results to managers.
It has helped with our interview process so we are bringing in the right people and also help our leaders work better with their team.
I love the tools! There are quite a few Behavioral Assessments out there, but when you combine how short the assessment is, with how accurate it is, and then have tools to use the results to improve your team... you have a really powerful tool at your fingertips. The robust knowledge library is also phenominal, and very easy to navigate. I'm not over exagerating when I say that PI's entire offering has completely shifted my career, for the good.
I don't always like their structure where there is consultant that connects you to PI. Some times I find it a little more clunky when trying to get a question answered. I also hope they will continue to upgrade their system. Currently there is a board collecting ideas from users (some as simple as being able to delete Teams some more complicated) and after being 100% into the system for the last 18 months I haven't see any of those trickle to fruition yet. I understand it takes time, but even crumb that its coming down the pike would be wonderful.
Its providing valuable insight to recruiting, retention, and job satisfaction. In the future I hope to also use it more to navigate conflict, and create team cohesion but for now career development and hiring is it's biggest impact.
