We use Play Digital Signage at our school as a welcome screen at the main entrance, and we are very satisfied with it. The system is easy to use and makes it simple to share important information, news updates, events, and announcements with students, colleagues, and visitors.

Updating content is quick, and everything can be managed remotely with ease. This ensures that the information displayed on the screen is always up to date. Adding images, videos, and presentations is also straightforward and hassle-free.

What I like best about Play Digital Signage is how simple and intuitive it is to set up, even without technical knowledge. I use it for a Samsung OM46B window display in our construction agency, and I was able to create my visuals on Canva, upload them, build a playlist, and schedule the screen very quickly.

The interface is clear, the playlist system is easy to understand, and the screen updates work smoothly. I also liked how easy it was to use existing content from Canva, without having to redesign everything inside the platform.

User-friendly interface and a very low learning curve. Their web app allows me to use fewer resources on my computer. And their support is awesome

Sometimes, their Android app keeps restarting/crashed by itself. Their subscription plan for the other screen can bee high for small businesses

Compared to other free open-source digital signage software, this software is easier to operate and has some good features that modern businesses need. The use of AI assistance is quite helpful too.

The interface is fairly easy to use without much complications

After uploading and positioning the files, there are still empty spaces around . It needs to be more accurate

Most importantly, PDS is easy to set up, easy to use, and offers critical integrations such as Google Drive. Being able to integrate directly significantly reduces the time spent creating and importing assets that are already present on another platform. The added AI assistance is nice, but it doesn’t really benefit me much coming from an IT setting; for general users, though, I can see it being a real help. I’ve only had to deal with support once since starting, but the response time was quick as lightning. Overall, out of the slew of digital signage options, PDS has been my #1 choice thanks to its feature set, its ability to integrate, and the wide range of supported devices.

So far, I haven’t run into any major dislikes with PDS. I do have a few small pet peeves—especially around text manipulation—but they’re pretty minor overall. For example, the slider for adjusting text font can be very temperamental, along with a few other similar little things.

I use PDS to create an information ticker for my employees. It works wonderfully for keeping them up to date and informed about the metrics tied to their roles. It’s also been great for sharing changes, promotions, and the store’s overall performance, so everyone stays current.

We had ten digital reader boards that were operating on Samsung's Banner platform. Samsung notified us that they were dropping that platform and that we would have to transition to another company. They offered a recommendation on a company that would have cost tens of thousands of dollars and it did not look user friendly.

Our local sign company recommended that we give Play Digital Signage a try. After reaching out to them the created a guide to help us with the transition and took care of us through all of the steps. Their platform is much easier to use than the Banner platform and we could not be more happy with the move to Play Digital Signage. I have already recommended them to another company in the same situation!!!!

Setting up a playlist is super easy! Streaming to my TV in the tasting room is awesome and I love how I can make adjustment/modification on the fly!

Adding assets (photos) is a little timely. I wish there was a bulk input or bulk-add option

I use Play Digital Signage to keep my customers informed about upcoming opportunities and to showcase my menu items. Since I started using it, I’ve noticed an increase in customer retention.

We can now control our TVC from afar, which makes branding so much easier.

It sometimes come across problems like disconnected screen when the tv is actually online. which you have to reconnect it and it's quite hard reconnecting it

The only downside to Play Digital Signage is that I wish there were more templates to choose from.
