I like using Planisware Enterprise for managing our program, project, and portfolio. It offers great visibility into our projects and communication for resource management, making it easier for project managers to manage their projects with one tool and one source of truth. It can do everything needed, whether it's a small or large project, and provides flexibility with updates. It's the Cadillac of PPM software, allowing us to put projects through stage gates and have robust approval workflows to ensure proper channels are followed. The Gantt chart is great too, with everything rolling together smoothly.

The only thing I would improve about Planisware is the usability. It takes a little bit of time for a user to get trained in the tool. It's not as intuitive as it could be.

Planisware Enterprise provides visibility to our projects, allowing for easier resource management and communication. It serves as one source of truth, enabling project managers to manage projects more efficiently.

Planisware allows for a centralized place for portfolio data. It gives one the ability to view project data from approval to launch, including timelines, resources, and costs.

The customization available. What do you need to report on? The system can do it. What timeline view do you want to see? The system can do it? Want to manage the project and portfolio budget? The system can do it.

Increased customizations means a slower system.

In my opinion the support team in combination with tool's flexibility is what make this the strongest Project and renouncement management solution in the market.

I miss the ability to create tabs in the views. It is cumbersome to review the Data management rules and which one is in 'play'. It would be helpful to find a way to display the Data Management Rules highlight which rule in play in a table format as way to manage and view them.

It is should not be confused with MS-Project alternative. It is an Enterprise strength solution that allows the company to integrate Projects, Functions to provide a comprehensive portfolio overview.

Improve transparency, alignment of the projects. Shorting the time the prepare the budget and supporting portfolio prioritization.

lag time when looking up project numbers seems to be kinda slow, it is a little cumbersome to navigate through the different options to look up project numbers.

Try it out, it takes a little bit to get use to but not a bad software

Throughout the last several iterations of the software, Planisware has taken customer feedback seriously and created a platform that can be used with very little customization. This reduces implementation, consulting and maintenance costs.

During an implementation it is essential to consider how the product will be supported long term. It is essential to have team members that are super users and trained by the vendor to support the organization efficiently.

Ensure there is ample support for post go-live. Most users are frustrated by simple navigation and or reporting and without a trained administrator this can lead to delayed user buy in.

We are primarily able to resolve resource conflicts both before and during project progression. We utilize the resource planning module extensively and plan global projects at the task level. We are able to use this information to show leadership the FTE's needed to complete a project. Additionally, this information has been used to support hiring additional headcount to support the portfolio.

The sessions were interactive and very informative.

Complex software is complex to use, but I wouldn't expect a solution with all this functionality to not require some level of training.

Planisware is feature laden and flexible to meet a variety of use cases. Good user training with clear processes and organizational commitment will lead to a successful implementation.

The ability to bring people and fiscal resource planning with actuals all under one roof for portfolio optimization analysis is game changing in aligning the organization.

Ability to manage complex schedules using templates and work breakdown structure for consistency. Forecasting ability using demand management, time actuals and costing of projects. Modular approach that allows segmenting work for appropriate accessibility by roles. Out of box customization.

User on-boarding is time consuming on front end but benefit of consistency will be gained over time. Coding requited for detailed upgrades. Not cloud based.
