I am making the switch to scheduling at my current employer. Before switching, they wanted me to complete this course so I could learn about P6. Michael explains everything really well. He goes into detail and walks you through everything in P6. In addition to that, they tested my knowledge after each lesson with a quiz and a workshop. The workshops were great as they actually put me to work and had me practice what I learned. The other great thing is that I have access to re-review anything I need for a whole year, so if I need to go back and remind myself on something,

I was brand new to scheduling and P6 entirely. The Foundations course was an excellent introduction to the software with challenging workshops touching on all of the basics of P6.

Expert response time was a little slower than I would have liked. I had to remind them my last assignment was waiting to be reviewed.

Teaching me Primavera P6.

I like the breakdown of the lessons. Short quick videos that can be revisited as many times as I like.

Sometimes the instructor schedules are ahead of mine so it takes a few extra minutes to find the right solution but nothing that can’t be solved.

Courses helped me refresh y skills in P6 and introduced new tips and tricks. Workshops were helpful in ensuring that I understood the content.

The courses are hours long so requires a time committment, but great that it's self paced and you have access to them for 1 year.

It's helping me to increase my skills and knowledge of P6 to develop and maintain quality schedules in P6.

Plan Academy is very organized and I like the way it is broken down into modules to help you tackle one property before managing another.

I didn't love the quizes, I found them sometimes unrelatable to the skills brought up in the lessons.

Plan Academy provides clear, step-by-step instructions for learning P6 skills one at a time. It includes practical projects to apply the knowledge to P6 and help my company manage resources and complicated schedules with ease. If you have questions you can reach out to a full community of other users! I find that very informative. Overall, it has helped me gain skills that I can use to advance my career.

The teachers are engaged in their topic and have passion in their topics. They genuinly seem to be having fun

The account dashboard is a little wonky and I wish there were more metrics for admins

I liked the tips and shortcuts for setting up resources.

I did not dislike anything about the course. I thought it was set up great.

Learning best practices for setting up WBS structure. Learning how to tackle more complicated features. Excellent in depth course.

It was so nice to be able to complete the training on my schedule. Sometimes I would even be able to complete a module on my lunch break. And even though it was on-demand... every time I had a question - it was answered promptly.

Despite being online - I still felt engaged and had access when I needed help - so there was nothing to dislike.

I have now officially moved into the Scheduler role at my company. This will also greatly help me reach my next promotion when reviews come up in June. I am able to track and forecast manpower hours and resources for the current construction project we are managing. Thorough P6 Training - On Demand - but also interactive.

The pace of the lessons and the structure of the courses.

The website itself can be a bit of an hassle to navigate and is sometimes a bit slow for me. This is not a problem during the lectures

The theory was a nice refresher course and for me it's a nice basis to switch scheduling software package.
