I have tried using ai culling services but none work for me and my workflow. Photo mechanic is the absolute fastest and most accurate culling service i have found. I have used it for over 10 years and will continue using it forever.

Honestly nothing. the only thing that would make it better, is maybe implimenting some sort of ai with the memory of what i have tagged for the last 10 years. other culling services are slow and not accurate. If photo mechanic implimented something like this i know it would be immaculate.

Its helping me cull through raw images quick and efficiently.

Ease of use. The installation process was smooth and I was ready to start with it in minutes.

Editing options are limited. I would have limited some basic editing options rather than doing it in Preview.

Managing large number of photos and arranging them and organising them.

I love how fast raw images are processed! I set up mouse shortcuts to rate photos a few different ways to help me in final edit process, as well as for social media and blog favs.

I mostly use lightroom cc and wish the color codes were accessible across both like Classic would be, but they don't. Other than that, there isn't much else that I dislike.

Photo mechanic is solving the lightroom wait time for each raw photo to render full resolution before being able to edit, allowing me to cull through 800 images in under 60 mins!

Photo software for archiving is clunky and slow. Photo Mechanic allows for personalized archiving of images on any kind of media and allows for keyword searching that is blazing fast. This software saves us photographers a huge amount of time with finding images so we can keep producing content on the field.

As a photographer, I need a tool to review my photos quickly and to remove the ones aI do not want to retouch. Photo Mechanic is a great tool for this task. It also allows tag images with keywords, and overall makes my professional live easier.

The interface could be made more intuitive and easy to grasp for the beginner. Also, it would be nice to have a reduced free version of the software. Also, a way to rename files would add value.

Consider it when you need to review and tag a substantial amount of images. You will be amazed at how efficient you could be.

The obvious benefits will be saving time on selecting candidates and organizing them and thus spending more on re-touching images. The Jpeg preview feature makes it a breeze.
