We implemented paycaptain across two entities in 2025 and although there have been challenges the support from the team has been excellent, particularly since Joanna Goss took on our account!

Of course there are learnings from any implementation and Paycaptain probably took some key learnings forward on how to better implement their system for clients, however the system is very strong, integrates well with external systems and provides user friendly, easy access for our employees.

I would recommend them as a UK supplier.

One of the standout features of PayCaptain is their innovative app, which has significantly improved our payroll experience. Payslips are easy to understand, and employees have access to financial tools that enhance their well-being. With the app, employees can request advance payments, set up savings accounts, donate to charities, and even split their net pay between multiple bank accounts—something we’ve never been able to offer so easily before.

Very happy with the payroll service provided. Much better than our previous provider as they manage the payroll much more effectively which saves us a lot of time. Annabelle looks after us and responds quickly, which is very important for our hospitality business as our teams rely on quick responses. PayCaptain is an intuitive tool, which has simplified our payroll. The help team are very supportive and helpful (especially Paulina and Wiki, although everyone has been great). The only improvement I would suggest is in the pricing, which penalises very small companies.

We transferred to Pay Captain a few years ago. The transmission went really well. The employees loved the modern and easy to use app. The chatbot is a nice feature to take simple queries off our hands.
We process 2 payrolls with PayCaptain and Paulina is always very pleasant, accommodating and any issues that have arisen have been worked through in a timely manner. Stacey, Val and Simon are also super helpful and work with us to create new reports etc for automation. They never stop wanting to help and we have a great working relationship. Thanks guys.
