The efficiency is amazing, it streamlines the process and allows for fast, accurate system input. No more hand-keying data and great internal controls.

Nothing really, implementation can always be bumpy but the most important factor was that the customer support was always there and ready to help!

Work with your processes together with Palette, Don´t be afraid to question or let them question your old "internal truths".

Since changing to Palette we have seen shortened invoice handling times, more transparency (where needed) and better traceability. We have also eased up the administrativt burden of adding new users, roles, etc.

I like best the the simplicity of the dashboard. I like logging in and seeing exactly what is waiting for me.

I dislike the search of the database. For me, there are too many different search options and at first, I could not find out how to search the correct database.

Read the user guide, it has helped me a lot when I have a question.

We solve accounting issues with this software. The benefits are easy tracking of invoices for departments across many different regions.

Shipping/receiving errors

It was our first step towards automating accounts payable. The email interface to get the invoices into the system was a good idea. It might be a good entry level software if you just want to process PDF invoices. You just send the invoice via email, process them in the UI and send them to your ERP.

Even though the email interface was a good idea, it never felt reliable. We always had to double check if the files got through. Same thing for the interface between Palette and Netsuite. Also, the process to match purchase order lines to invoice lines was not intuitive at all. Felt like a lot of steps to accomplish a small thing. We probably expected too much on this matter, but we asked them to also read and extract data from our XML invoices and never really got that working, even though it's easier than reading PDFs. So for international companies, specially if they work with Mexico and South America, it might not be a very good fit.

Be ready for a long implementation process and a lot back and forth with their team to get it working just the way you want it. Or consider developing something in house.

Like I said, it was out first step in automating AP. It did help us map some of the data from the invoice file to our ERP we would've otherwise input manually. I think the biggest benefit was getting a good idea of the automation we could accomplish and the problems we wanted to avoid while doing it. We managed to operate with it while we had it, but it did have its shortcomings.
