I use Orion everyday for financial and accounting purposes. My firm uses this program to keep track of expenses.

When it crashes. Normally, it comes back up when it restarts though.

Would definitely recommend for financials!

My company uses Orion for many reasons. One use is to track our firms credit card useage/expenses and is used to associate a charge with correlating client accounts. Before the use of this program, end of month accounting was a mess.

The software works well and is easy to use. Support is excellent. We've been using this product for over 25 years.

We are not able to use over VPN connection.

Time and billing for our attorneys. Smart timers and trackers.

Ryan has the capability to departmentalize different information within the platform. Currently there are 12 different tabs with Orion which I use every day. There are different functions that alarm specific data to be accessed and processes to be completed quickly.

Aesthetically the platform could be more pleasing to the eye and there are opportunities to incorporate other resources. For example, I have another system which houses all procedure documents and it would be beneficial to have Orion show correlating links to the aforementioned documents.

This is a wonderful product if you want to be able to work multiple tasks for different accounts within your organization.

Currently, I am solving problems regarding customer accounts and using this information in an analytical way to prevent future risk to the organization. There have been many benefits including opportunities to update disclosures in a way that helps our agents do their job better.

Tax Pro is best tool till now i found while the using, We can use financial and accounting purposes.

Till now no feature which i dislike in this product.

For a personal level we can track every statement and expenses with this product

The multitude of features is great. It is more than just a time-entry system. The contacts functionality is intuitive and easy to update. From there, initiating conflicts checks is also easy. On the backend, the ability to see nearly real-time accounting data, like payments received, A/R balances, and distributions, is really helpful, though implementation of it took a little while.

The desktop version is a little clunky. As a Mac user, I must fire up MS Remote Desktop before I can get into the app (which I suspect is seamless on PCs). But the iPhone app makes up for that. It is extremely helpful to have the ability to enter time immediately through the iPhone app while onsite with clients. And, at least it can be used with Macs.

As our firm has doubled in a relatively short period of time, the need for a more comprehensive time-entry system that tied back to our accounting systems and provided visibility to all partners 24/7 was key. It was a bit of rocking rollout, but most partners, including me, now love it. And even those who had some issues had them, I suspect, because there was just so much functionality and a lot to learn.

Orion is easy to use and can create multiple reports and summaries

What I dislike the most about the program is that it does not have a mobile app and that would be helpful if you work from home or the car.

Organized client list so entering time is quicker

It's nice that everyone can input information simultaneously, without affecting the other timekeeper's entries. Definitely more effective/efficient than a spreadsheet when you have multiple people working on the same files consistently.

It's bulky. It would be nice if there was an option to have just the time manager open in the tray, or maybe even a "right click" to enter a new entry. It would also be nice if there were codes - similar to in excel, having an additional row to designate different billing entries for different purposes or rates (like code "1" would be for real estate purchase of 123 Brown Street, but code "2" would be for 456 Orange Street, so the different costs could be separated easier)

The billing records are cleaner, it's easier to keep track of where all the time goes and how many hours are being billed per person per day, which makes it a lot easier to track billing and productivity.

I like the ease of choosing a time frame for tracking billable hours.

The Smart Timers are a major inconvenience, having to make sure I stop one before I start another.
