Its Gui and deployment is far better to undertand and even when we tried to implement for the first time we didnt face any difficulty, such a smooth GUI.

The best functionality is the ability of the VM to expand the compute on the go. It gives flexible use for the load balancers to manage the service invokes. The Ease of use and implementation is another best thing. Oracle is good with customer support as well.

The OCI login structure can be improved a little bit. Apar from that the things are good only.

It is resolving our issue of moving the on premise applications to Cloud and also the object storage feature is very good.

Oracle Cloud very easy cloud service to use and implement. Customer service is over the top as well.

We have used it for the computing purpose.

We are able to quickly and economically deploy our application using compute classic. We received excellent technical support. The system is reliable and simple to administer. The maintenance is performed by Oracle and the maintenance windows do not result in much downtime.

The downside of compute classic is that they have changed the pricing model to universal credits and it's not easy to avoid overages if you don't set up your limits correctly. Also compute classic is now being replaced with a different architecture and we will need to move our applications to the new infrastructure.

The Oracle cloud infrastructure allows us to spin up applications quickly and we don't need to involve multiple teams to set up a new application. Our users can quickly see new features and benefits of new application features. It's also cost effective as long as you stay within the resource limits.

Oracle is an easy to learn virtual machine that will make your work easier. having a computer w 4gb ram, 2 processors a good amount of memory for a really cheap price! way better out there

I will say that not having user friendly videos where u get to see what Oracle can actually do, besides just being the usual virtual machine, you can get it to be more than that!

Also, sometimes there are way to many updates, usually every month I have to be updating. Its okay because this tells me that they are working in the product, but it can be a little upsetting.

OCI Virtual machine compute service struggles in dynamic scaling as compared to the modern cloud platforms and this makes the service less suitable for dynamically fluctuating workloads. Also the infrastructure is based on older architectures and lacks many advanced features

OCI VM compute classic offers larger flexibility in choosing the compute and memory resources, their dynamic VM shapes are more friendly Aand user customizable.

OCI has the best DB and computes offering also this OCI is very good on cloud cost optimization.

OCI can be best used for applications that are currently using Oracle as backend.

OCI has a good network and co-location DataCenters which helps to reduce downtime in case of DR situation.

Oracle cloud yet has robust monitoring capabilities that can compete with existing solutions. OCI support is up to the mark in some situations when compared with Azure and AWS.
