OperaDDS is easy to use and effective in increasing communication with patients, confirming appointments, and has helped tremendously with getting online form-fillable paperwork for our patients.

The form builder has a learning curve and it can be time consuming to learn and build your custom forms. With Eaglesoft, you HAVE to use certain forms for the information to transfer seamlessly to the software. You cannot edit these forms in any way so if they contain information your practice does not use, it can add the already lengthy paperwork process.

Our office using

It has excellent customer service. Researchers can reach patients through text or email to remind them of their appointments without having to call each one individually. It saves our office personnel a lot of time.

They don't have an option, though, because sending documents securely is a HIPAA mandate. When there are problems and they cannot gain access, should call OperaDDS, who then contact the office and assist them in gaining access to the documents.

It's tough to convince a new dental clinic to accept encrypted emails since they must first create a username and password in order to access the information. Some offices don't seem to want to take the time to accomplish this and phone to complain.
