Encourse is simply the best overall program that pulls everything together in a way that makes sense for staff and administrators. The SIS pulls all of the student information together so we can see a birds eye view of every component of student needs and resources.

OnCourse has versitile functionality. The development team is also always looking for ways to increase the product's usefulness to the user. Their help desk is STELLAR!! When I was a new user, I also found it fairly intuitive to learn. I use it every day, multiple times a day.

Parents don't have a clear line of communication with OnCourse about their technical issues.

OnCourse keeps track of pretty much everything we need regarding students and guardians. It helps keep track of staff information, too, which is helpful for SMID Management.

The most helpful part of using OnCourse SIS is its connection to all components of the program, placing all information on one platform.

I do not have any downsides. My previous district did not use the OnCourse SIS system and it was very frustrating.

Not aware of any problems. Any concerns are easily and quickly addressed. One issue I need to bring to somebody's attention is the calculation of the self assessment in the overall score. I need to figure out how to only include administration evaluations in calculating the scores.

The Household tab allows for you to see all students from the same address. The Student Contact allows for a visual for of parent contacts from anyone with student access.

SIS has the Comprehensive Student Report, which is essential for sharing students' educational records when students transfer to another district.

Probably the most helpful thing right now is the ease of transition between our old SIS and OnCourse. The element of personalized assistance with an amazing team of people has really set our transition apart. Even though we are midway through our conversion, we can already see the benefits of having everything easily accessible plus the added bonus of having an excellent team.

As of right now the biggest obstacle (and not really a dislike) is the "we've always done it this way" mindset; however, I'm optimistic that once our people settle, they will be pleased.

I really see our people making use of the data tools and Student Story. I cannot wait to dig in further.
