Oncourse Lesson Planner is a software that helps teachers plan their lessons, this software helps to make teaching efficient. Lessons can be planned among teachers week wise. It has various templates and features that helps to save plenty of time that helps to plan a lesson and cover a number of aspects. It gives teachers a consolidated view of the lessons, resources and assessments which helps teachers to keep a track of their students. It can help teachers to understand who are lacking behind and help those students to learn and cope-up. Oncourse Lesson Planner helps teachers to collaborate which makes the lesson even more fun and informative. It ensures that the lesson is planned as per the educational benchmark ensuring quality. The customer service is quite helpful as they assist you when you have queries. It also has a library which helps me to share files. I can also manage my students and collect assignments.

Like every software, even oncourse lesson planner has some downsides. Oncourse Lesson Planner has a subscription plan which can be expensive for some schools. Also, training is required to navigate the software so it can be a little tough for first timers. Oncourse Lesson Planner does require a very good internet connection. Also, it does have glitches, these things may interfere with the teaching process.

Oncourse Lesson Planner helps me to plan my lessons which saves alot of time. It also helps me to track progress of my students.

I love the ability to quickly check my plans from previous years as well as collaborate on planning with my teammates through use of the sharing option. Sharing plans is truly the best! We are able to help keep each other on track as well as work smarter, not harder and reuse plans from year to year. Compared to paper plan books, I love that my admin can check my plans without having to physically give them my plans for a day.

I wish when you clicked a box to write plans that it didn’t open a new window. Sometimes I accidentally click out of the pop up window and then start a new one only to realize that the other window was just hidden.

I can plan from anywhere without needing to bring anything home from school. The district curriculum is loaded into the program.
