What do you like best about OnCourse Classroom?

Writing this from a parent perspective i have nothing but good things to say. The easy of finding the information you need such as classes, grades, and important information about my kids experience at school is second to none.

What do you dislike about OnCourse Classroom?

The integration in our district with Classlink is less than ideal, but that is no fault of Oncourse.

What problems is OnCourse Classroom solving and how is that benefiting you?

The ability to have one location to find out all the information that is important as a parent for my kids has been great.

I love oncourse

What do you like best about OnCourse Classroom?

Oncourse makes grading easy. By having students take assessments in oncourse they are automatically graded taking some of the hassle out of a teachers day

What do you dislike about OnCourse Classroom?

I wish I could upload a pdf and have the students take the test

What problems is OnCourse Classroom solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is less paperwork having all student work in one place so no dragging a bag of test to grade around.

They are able to share test and grade student test easier than our previous platforms Oncourse Classroom

I like the way teachers can create assessment and share them with other teachers

In the last few weeks we did experience a little issue with assessments. However, once we contacted Oncourse the problem was resolved.

It helps make teachers job easier.

I really wish there was more for PhD science, able to print entire test for parents, and have assessments already created, and LEAP practice test.

The ease to create assessments for our students. The depth of the items and the challenge of the questions.

There is truly no need dislikes, the program has normal hiccups but overall is great!

OnCourse Classroom is the best tool for teachers!

What do you like best about OnCourse Classroom?

I love that I can create multi-layered assignments and Leap-Like tests to prepare my students for students for state testing. I also love that I can create assignments for students who are college-bound and need the experience of virtual lessons.

What do you dislike about OnCourse Classroom?

I wish that I was able to create a question bank for my tests that I could randomly choose from. This would make building a variety of tests and assessments easier each year.

What problems is OnCourse Classroom solving and how is that benefiting you?

It allows me to help build lessons and assessments that I can then share with other teachers in my district. This is a huge timesaver for teachers and allows them to use assessments and assignments and to make copies to customize for their purposes.

What do you like best about OnCourse Classroom?

It is easy to use and stores information for years.

What do you dislike about OnCourse Classroom?

When I change the viewing format it will default back to the original viewing format after I closed. Minor issue compared to everything is does well.

Recommendations to others considering OnCourse Classroom?

It is easy to learn and use. I can share my work with co workers with out them changing or deleting my work. It stores work for years that is easy to access and use again.

What problems is OnCourse Classroom solving and how is that benefiting you?

No problems that I am aware of. I love that is stores my information for years. It is easy to share with co workers.

What do you like best about OnCourse Classroom?

That you can see a break down of student understanding and see where they struggle. I love that it is aligned with standards and helps track this data .

What do you dislike about OnCourse Classroom?

I do not like that you have to click on each piece of the rubric rather than simple out in the point value in the written response

Oncourse is allowing me to have all assessments in one place that easier for students and parents to access !

Solid but room for improvement

What do you like best about OnCourse Classroom?

I like that it can directly link grades to the gradebook. I also like that you can archive old assignments to prevent students from getting overwhelmed, as well as using the categories option to logically group assignments together.

What do you dislike about OnCourse Classroom?

OnCourse's system can be confusing on how to post assignments to multiple classes at once. I also don't like that when you "publish" a student's grade for an assignment, the digital assignment is no longer accessible for corrections/completion unless the teacher unpublishes the assignment.

What problems is OnCourse Classroom solving and how is that benefiting you?

The time stamps allow me to quickly track how long students spend on an assignment. This information is crucial for student evaluations and for using data for parent conversations. The ability to link directly to the gradebook also saves me time from having to re-enter each students' information.
