What do you like best about ODBC driver for Oracle?

The thing I like best about ODBC driver is in it a single application can access different databases.

What do you dislike about ODBC driver for Oracle?

While having its advantages , it is slow due to it access multiple databases...

What problems is ODBC driver for Oracle solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am using ODBC for multiple applications while it reducing the cost for another databases to purchase for different applications.

What do you like best about ODBC driver for Oracle?

the simple interface and the ease of use provided by the client tool. Also, it supports almost all the latest features supported by the Oracle Database makes it good to have tool.

What do you dislike about ODBC driver for Oracle?

lack of presentation for the application. Also, the popularity has reduced after we have a nice number of tools available in the market to compete. There should be more promotions required.

Recommendations to others considering ODBC driver for Oracle?

Also, there is a third party dependency is there like driver manager, if this can be removed it will be a better option.

What problems is ODBC driver for Oracle solving and how is that benefiting you?

database connection, ease of use, simple interface are the key benifits which I feel is good here. Also, it has feature which comes with the custom database makes it more necessary.

Confusing to setup in older OS

Pretty straightforward use case scenarios, easy to access within Windows.

What do you dislike about ODBC driver for Oracle?

Must have an oracle account & signed in to view support forums. Confusing 32/64 bit compatibility issues

Our new ERP system relies on it.

ODBC driver for oracle which needs to be in build for certain oracle products like SQL developer

What do you like best about ODBC driver for Oracle?

Unlike Netezza or sql server we have ODBC setup available for Oracle which gives flexibility to connect various sources.

What do you dislike about ODBC driver for Oracle?

Some times the versions are confusing and there is no description or direction to mention which one to choose for which oracle and sql dev versions
