Simple, Turnkey Solution for Translation
What do you like best about MotionPoint?
The Turn Key nature of the solution allows me to get things done without doing anything. The Team we work with at MotionPoint are always on top of things, and are amongst our best vendor teams. We could not manage to deliver 29 languages without MotionPoint. Owning our own translation memory is also a key differentiator.
What do you dislike about MotionPoint?
If I could improve anything it would be support for reverse translation.
What problems is MotionPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?
The most important problem our relationship resolves is a lack of resources. We are a small team. We do not have a large pool of multi-lingual content authors ready to jump in and create 29 different versions of a single page at a moment's notice. Having a great partner, like MotionPoint, drives our speed to market at a pace, we could never achieve ourselves. plus working with in country linguists and solid processes, we are ensured that our translations are high quality.

Great Experience with MotionPoint
What do you like best about MotionPoint?
I love the ease of maintaining my foreign language sites! I only make the changes on our English site, and MotionPoint does the rest. Maintaining multiple languages used to require making changes on each site individually. MotionPoint's customer service is on point. The staff is responsive and very helpful in resolving issues.
What do you dislike about MotionPoint?
Not so much a dislike, but I do wish the updates to the foreign language sites could be nearly instantaneous instead of a next-day delay.
What problems is MotionPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a federally funded transit system, we are required to make information available to those who speak English less than well or not at all. We do not have anyone on staff who is multi-lingual to assist with translations or interpreting. We provide the majority of the information related to our service on our website. I only make the changes on our English site, and MotionPoint does the rest.

What do you like best about MotionPoint?
What I like best is how quickly the team responds when I have a question or an issue to resolve.
What do you dislike about MotionPoint?
Password reset seems to happen too often and be too strict, but I guess that shows a good sense of security with the platform.
What problems is MotionPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem to solve is how to manage a full suite of constantly-changing customer-facing documentation in three languages.

If there isn't a translation then the English source page is served up - not page not found errors for us! Their technology is pretty much flawless as is their customer service.
What do you like best about MotionPoint?
I cannot comment on the quality of the actual translations but the implementation of the technology is just amazing. If the user selects an alternative language, then the call to deliver the page is intercepted by the Motionpoint process, which simply serves up the translated version. We use Adobe AEM, which has the ability to have multiple renditions of a page for languages but we would then have to manage all those page copies - this solution just works without us doing anything - other than paying the bill.
What do you dislike about MotionPoint?
It is not inexpensive - when I took over the digital team I called them in to try to understand the costs. Once I understood the effort that they were taking from the team, I swallowed and accepted the cost as being appropriate.
Recommendations to others considering MotionPoint?
We all hear from vendors who pitch that their solutions "just work out of the box" and then 3 years later, you're still trying to get it to work. That's NOT the case here - when we implemented MotionPoint initially, we had one web admin running the entire site. She basically just had to add a language drop-down to the site and make some basic changes to support the integration (the helped with this) and it has worked consistently since then.
What problems is MotionPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have customers in almost every country in the world and publish highly scientific content. We need to have six alternative languages for each page and the effort of both translating AND managing those pages is a lot of work for a smaller digital team. The benefits? It really just works...if there's a translation then they serve it up automatically, they deal with all the changes that we make to the source pages.

Almost-invisible service
What do you like best about MotionPoint?
The service works with almost no input on our part. We just update the English site and the translated pages are updated automatically, generally within a day.
What do you dislike about MotionPoint?
Because HTML comments are used to control translation in some circumstances, we can't minify our HTML for SEO.
Recommendations to others considering MotionPoint?
This is an excellent service, and unique in functionality
What problems is MotionPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?
The service allows us to have a Spanish version of our web site without having to maintain a separate instance of the site on our server.

What do you like best about MotionPoint?
MotionPoint has one of the best customer service teams in the industry. They treat every client as if they were their only client. They go above and beyond to be a great partner and are always looking for ways to improve the customer journey while being efficient and cost effective.
What do you dislike about MotionPoint?
There is not much to say as far as disliking MotionPoint. We have had some challenges with integrating the technology with our products; however, MotionPoint works very hard to assist us in finding a solution that works. We have yet to have a problem we couldn't solve.
