Mimecast Email Continuity Reviews

Mimecast Mailbox Continuity has allowed our business to continue work even when our Exchange Server went down effortlessly. The security protection is first class. The customer support is exceptional and I often use the community and knowledgebase to resolve concerns.

I don't have any specific features that I dislike. This is a solid product.

To have the ability to effortlessly transition to Mimecast Continuity has helped us a number of times, especially when our Exchange Server was unavailable. Switching to Mimecast Continuity is as simple as clicking on a button. Emails sent appear to the recipient as if it came from our server. This works well with onsite and Office 365 Exchange servers.

Mimecast is best of breed email continuity/ SMTP front end delivery service. You will be able to tame spam, prevent cyberthreats, delegate admin review and integrate with desktop suites like Office to make it easy for end users to reclaim their email inboxes from predators.

Mimecast could improve mobile management tools.

If you are looking for a full service, best of breed email front end/ security solution, especially for organizations needing compliance and long term archive, Mimecast is the tool for you.

Email front end protection, archiving, discovery/ litigation management, brand protection/outgoing email auth, incoming DNS/SPF/DMARC auth, user awareness training and more.

The mimecast email archiving feature is incredibly easy to use. Re-visiting archived emails is as easy as just going to your top bar and searching for a key word or words.

There really isn't anything to dislike. The product works great!

We are saving space on our machines via the size of our outlook inboxes which I turn reduces the cloud space we use.

When we were on Local Exchange servers, if we had issues, we had a cloud portal we could jump into and never lose productivity.

Pretty basic overall tool, but I don't expect outlook-like functionality.

Email Redundancy in case of Local Exchange outage, we have seen the benefit of this a few times when we had local server isues.

I can manually use this and/or automate it so I don't have to worry about it.

Sometimes the notices are not clear enough to know why the event is being triggered.

I can do Exchange maintenance in the middle of the work day but enabling continuity. No more late night rollups. No more down time EVER

Mimecast maintains my inbox clear and safe from spam, phishing, and unnecessary promotional emails that are not related to work. I no longer have to worry about those unsolicited emails that just pile up in your inbox and could be a real threat for your organization.

Sometimes it blocks secured emails but I rather have an extra layer of protection, specially with nowadays hackers' techniques.

Easy to use and log into, Mimecast does a great job keeping your personal and company data safe. It is worth it to have an extra layer of protection, specially when you are sending sensitive/confidential data via email.

A clean inbox and a lower risk to have information leaks due to unsafe emails. I can simply go to my emails knowing that they will be from colleagues, clients, and prospects.

We just started using MIMECAST to send files which require a secure platform or are very large.

I have not yet encountered anything about MIMECAST which I do not care for.

I have used to send PowerPoint decks with embedded video which were too large for ourent server to accommodate. I also use for personal contracting and tax documents.

Best filtering application out there. Mimecast keeps your inbox free of spam and nasty virus filled emails waiting to steal your identity and consume your personal information like a python devouring a mouse. The application works well with Outlook and runs seamlessly in the background.

Sometimes Mimecast forgets what is good and what is bad. The filters sometimes catch things that shouldn't get caught in the filters.

Will require help from your tech support to get setup, is not for the layman.

Mimecast keeps our work emails safe, it has kept our data from being breached.

Cloud based solution that enabled 100% uptime of my critical business tool, as well as AV scanning, full archive and URl protection (as we have hte full package)

Costs each year fluctuate which makes budgeting a little annoying and URL protection isnt 100% sorted yet due to the nature of spam campaigns using PDFs and embedded URLs that it doesnt currently scan.

I would recommend the full package as it adds a level of protection that office365 simply falls short of.

Email continuity and archiving was the critical aspect that we wanted to resolve with this solution. It was implemented pre migration to office365 and was setup as a means to ensure a seamless transition to the new platform which it did well.
