Robust and comprehensive spreadsheet software, great price!
What do you like best about Microsoft Excel?Microsoft Excel is my go-to for all spreadsheet or database needs. I'm comfortable using it after many years, it handles all the functions needed with ease, is included in our current M365 subscription which makes the cost ideal, has many features and integrations available, and has been consistently useful. It has cut down on the time it takes to handle many of my financial tasks - it makes doing math and formula checks a breeze. We do all of our BOD reports in Excel and the charts are really helpful to visualize the data points! There are rarely performance issues. I also like the use of the AI as it helps to make things easier. What do you dislike about Microsoft Excel?I dislike that there are so many features and function options that after over 20 years of using the software, there is still so much more for me to learn. Additionally, sometimes the charts can get a little difficult and have a mind of their own. The only problems I really face are when Microsoft itself has issues and I need to contact customer support. Other than that, Excel is a great resource! What problems is Microsoft Excel solving and how is that benefiting you?Microsoft Excel is solving all of our spreadsheet and database needs. It is providing us with a cheap cost for handling all of these areas. We use it for all of our financial data and for many other things such as tracking required trainings, etc. We were using manual methods for tracking things, but Excel has helped to make this process much easier and smoother. Microsoft Excel is also a worldwide leader for spreadsheets, so even though we work with people across the globe, we all understand the software program.

User-Friendly Excel That Powers Everyday Analysis
What do you like best about Microsoft Excel?Excel became part of my life the moment I joined Chartered Accountancy course, and after 8 years as a CA, its role has increased substantially in my day-to-day workings. Although we make entries in ERPs, any kind of analysis needs the use of Excel. Its UI is user-friendly.What do you dislike about Microsoft Excel?Excel performs better with high-end configurations, however sometimes it crashes when there is load on CPU.What problems is Microsoft Excel solving and how is that benefiting you? With the integration of Velixo in Excel as an add-in, we can fetch data from ERP quickly. Its availability through Microsoft 365 makes its pricing very economical. Customer support is also very responsive, and with the integration of Copilot, its AI capabilities are also enhanced.

Powerful, Flexible, and Reliable for Everyday Data Management
What do you like best about Microsoft Excel? What I like most about Microsoft Excel is how flexible it is and how easy it makes it to organize, analyze, and present data. The interface feels familiar and intuitive, and features like formulas, PivotTables, charts, and other data tools help me handle everything from simple tasks to more complex work. Excel also performs well with large datasets and integrates smoothly into existing workflows, especially when I’m using other Microsoft 365 applications. Overall, it’s a versatile and reliable tool that saves time and boosts productivity. What do you dislike about Microsoft Excel?Excel is very powerful, but some of its more advanced features come with a learning curve, especially for users who are new to complex formulas, PivotTables, or data analysis tools. Large, complicated workbooks can also become hard to manage and maintain over time, particularly as they grow and evolve. Collaboration has improved a lot, but when you’re working with highly complex spreadsheets, it still takes careful organization to avoid errors and keep everything consistent. What problems is Microsoft Excel solving and how is that benefiting you?Microsoft Excel helps us organize, analyze, and manage data in one place, rather than relying on multiple manual processes. It makes tasks like calculations, reporting, data tracking, and building summaries faster and more structured. Features such as formulas, PivotTables, charts, and other data analysis tools help turn raw information into useful insights while reducing repetitive work. Overall, Excel boosts productivity, supports better decision-making, and delivers strong value because it can handle a wide range of business and operational needs.

Excel: Flexible, Familiar, and Perfect for Everyday Tracking and Budgets
What do you like best about Microsoft Excel?I use Excel for a lot of boring but necessary things :) Keeping lists, tracking expenses, comparing numbers, planning budgets, sometimes just putting information into a table because it's easier to understand that way. What do you dislike about Microsoft Excel?Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Excel? What I like is that it can be as simple or as complicated as you need. Most of the time I only use basic formulas, filters and sorting, and that's already enough for probably 90% of what I need. But when I do need something more specific, there's usually a way to do it without moving everything to another tool. What problems is Microsoft Excel solving and how is that benefiting you?
