I like the ease it provides for cloud integration and to use on all platforms web or mobile! It is a complete solution for load and stress testing.

Silk performer is tool that can be easy to learn but difficult to master if you are a beginner at performance testing.

I have solved the problems of bottleneck state of applications when maximum users are using it at the same time. For mobile how the apps behave on slow networks or how gracefully it can recover from crashes. Also to integrate the application on different platforms and servers.

For protocol testing it's been great. I'm familar with the tool.

The browser based testing lacks a lot of power. 15 users per/agent is terrible.

Site validation, consistency and just a plan solid tool that I've been using for years.

It is very easy tool to learn and performance test.Also cheap in license.It has better host per license.The license can be imported anywhere

More interactive results like loadrunner should be present

Improve your tools to support on Cloud Protocols, Better interactive results etc

Some protocol like Citrix is not very well supported.there should be better tool support.More support from Microfocus should be expected

The UI for Silk performer is one of the best in market and makes the experience of using it smooth and easy. The intuitive nature of the menu and options make it easy to explore and understand features of the tool

Not a lot to dislike to be honest. But some more pre made scripts and examples could be of help

Basic problem was of load testing and measuring throughput of the website that we had made. The tool helped us through that nicely and its usage of work load mixes really helped us target the performance tuning for the application

We have used Silk performer for recording a web based UI, mobile devices, windows applications, terminal based systems. I also like scripting through BDL even for selenium like use cases. Support team of MicroFocus has been very helpful to us.
