LoadRunner used for testing the behaviour of application in load condition, where it will capture every second and millisecond to generate graph for detailed analysis. Most important feature is, it can test load for various platforms like webapp, mobile app, SAP like ERPs and GUIs. You can record and retest the cases.

When there are presence of Jmeter like open source softwares , it's very difficult to take decision for a paid one. I agree that loadrunner is good for generating detailed report for performance measure, but for some bucks.

Otherwise the best solution for testing load performance.

Load runner is much capable of testing application in load condition and can generate graphs of performance parameters. Reporting thing is much more helpful for testing in such environment. It's quite smooth and easy navigating to test the SUT(system under test). Although its somehow costlier and other applications are present which are open source and free to use but , the reporting and graph analysis feature is best in the market to solve minor problems also for taking prevention to failure.

It’s load capabilities...the protocols it’s supports ..I use it in my daily performance test, and the enterprise level capabilities that it provides is splendid...you don’t have to look for any other tool once you have performance center..good support and community exist for it over years

As it’s a entprise wide tool, initial setup is not very easy like Jmeter. Also it has huge license cost...so if you plan to run performance for a basic application then this is not the tool to go for

We have to use a different product for different tasks its one of the demerits and also it dost not support different types of reports.

I strongly recommend the other to use this product for the performance test.
