MetaTrader 5 is the most impressive trading platform worldwide, with its ease of use across different asset classes. Iit runs stocks, futures, and forex with high efficiency. The built-in MQL5 development environment is incredibly powerful for creating custom Expert Advisors (EAs) and technical indicators. I love the advanced strategy tester, which allows for back-testing, making it much faster to optimize automated trading systems compared to other platforms.

The macOS version of MT5 is not so user-friendly, and its stability can be inconsistent compared to the native Windows application. Sometimes it needs a Wine wrapper or virtual machine for a flawless user experience.

MetaTrader 5 solves the need for multiple platforms to trade different financial markets. It allows us to manage our full portfolios of trading instruments in one place. The ability to run 24/5 automated scripts on a VPS has completely changed our trading workflow, removing the need for constant monitoring of the markets.

This application contains all that you need to become a great trader. It works both in PC's and mobile devices. The features that the app contains are simply better than the version 4.

The GUI has some errors when trying to filter the history of trades in a range of dates. Other than that I don't have any other complains or dislikes about the app.

The app solves the necessity of looking for another client app to trade in the financial markets (Cryptos, Forex, Index, futures, etc). My performance has increased due to the facility that the app provides.

The best thing I like about MT5 is it's allowing flexibility to be connected with any type of CRM system in the market with Demo and Live Account Features. This can be used easy way to test the integration and develop seamless CRM systems for brokers. Nowadays CRM system is very useful for the broker to onboard and manages clients to provide a digital platform for trading. It's very trending requirement in the market now a days.

For the time being, It's should be extended with a good dashboard and with an advanced reports facility.

Well for me, It's providing open API so that I can integrate with third-party CRM systems so that brokers can use it to run their own business to do digital onboarding and provide a digital platform to the customer.

I used for more than one year it is so easy and you can get money a lot of money if has a business mind, but it has some problems and they can be fixed with no work.

Allows quick management of transactions, the application interface allows easy navigation through each of its functions, the learning curve is very intuitive.

I believe it still needs to position itself in front of the developers so that they provide more contributions in the implementation of bots. On the other hand, some platforms have not yet integrated with Meta Trader 5.

The main feature of Meta Trader family is a sophisticated design, excellent chart graphics, especially for MT5. It is fast to assemble and open a retail account with minimum steps to achieve activation. The valuable feature for the platform is the volumes data available to be printed on charts. It is easy to automate indicator creation with help of QPILE basic alike language to evolve it even for robo trading engine even posted on VPS.

I guess it is not FIX connected so did not hear large trading companies use it for trades execution. MT5 focused on CDS so is a kind of OTC market. We have plenty of MT5 technical analysis tools but lack other approaches like VSA visualisations. It is great to have affordable priced VPS to deploy your own MT5 robot but the problem is QPILE is not a very popular language so you will need time to get acquainted with it to use installed logic but you have Python MT5 API since of 2019 year active and can use it at separate application. The question will be your round trip time - qpile, python, dde excell to choose which is acceptable to your time frame and execution speed needed.

It is a fast start solution for a retail user. You will grow with it in your research to consider all risks.

MT5 is fast, reliable, and cost-efficient. It has forex data feeds for you not to seak majors to trade or test. We use it for backtesting of forex strategies cause it has extensive tick history and even volume sizes within a given ECN. I executed my own savings trades to assess and avoid risks related to CFD trading. You can start with technical analysis which will easily evolve into your strategies and test automation.

You can select different brokers, so options are multiple. Each broker has differente stocks to operate

You can modify demo account to looks like a real, so some people try to lie with it

Use this app for stocks and Metrader4 for only forex. There are a lot of videos explaining the differences between both of them
