Great tracking platform for shipments
What do you like best about MercuryGate TMS?
the ability to see all of the reference #'s associated w/ a load (BOL #, Shipment #, PRO #, Release #, PO #, etc.)
What do you dislike about MercuryGate TMS?
I do not like that there is not an option to search by BOL #.
What problems is MercuryGate TMS solving and how is that benefiting you?
The PRO # sometimes does not populate on the load tracking screen.

Web based tool for management of all modes of transportation.
What do you like best about MercuryGate TMS?
The system envisions transportation operation that has actionable information hence the user clearly sees the going,easen add up of New carriers and monitors those relationship over time.
What do you dislike about MercuryGate TMS?
The software requires training on how it is used and may also be costy in terms purchase and installation.
Recommendations to others considering MercuryGate TMS?
Besides the merits i have listed,it enables the user to quickly develop realistic plans to drive cost out of network hence I highly recommend it.
What problems is MercuryGate TMS solving and how is that benefiting you?
The software empowers management of driver data and safely records,maximize assets utilization and reducds unnecessary miles and ensures regulatory compliance for drivers,compares proposed services levels against past carrier perfomance of the shippment.

The best tool for your shipments
What do you like best about MercuryGate TMS?
Excellent software, very easy to learn how to use it, has important tools such as updating your cargo, customer configuration, reports and documentation necessary for the transfer and delivery of a shipment, invoice generator and the option for claims. Excellent and very useful.
What do you dislike about MercuryGate TMS?
It is a bit difficult to customize, but in general I am delighted with the software is really effective.
Recommendations to others considering MercuryGate TMS?
It has a lot and very good information, many and very good tools for customization, it is a highly qualified software that gives you the best in shipping processes,

It is a really complete software, with complete and very useful functionalities, advanced technology, you can customize the software according to your tastes and needs.

I like that Mercury Gate is all real time and everything is fully automated.

What do you like best about MercuryGate TMS?
The Configurability allows you to setup your defined workflow within the TMS. Leveraging your operations setup along with the features within the MG systems nearly seamlessly.
What do you dislike about MercuryGate TMS?
The amount of flexibility comes with some maintenance nightmares as well. Keeping internal documentation is key as MG guides are very basic to functionality, not as much usability type documents as we would to see.
What problems is MercuryGate TMS solving and how is that benefiting you?
We operate our entire Broker operation at Schneider within the MercuryGate TMS - allowing 500+ users to stay within the MG suite of products for all interactions with customers and carriers.

What do you like best about MercuryGate TMS?
The strongest features of the TMS are its contract rating, EDI processing, and the MOJO/Edge application.
What do you dislike about MercuryGate TMS?
The traditional user interface was very "clunky" but has been replaced with the new EZVision GUI. The only struggles that we have experienced involve the API's. MercuryGate has not always balanced well the service delivery model with exposing the data and methods to their customers.
Recommendations to others considering MercuryGate TMS?
Be careful in selecting your in-house implementor.
What problems is MercuryGate TMS solving and how is that benefiting you?
We using the basic TMS with MOJO to implement traditional non-asset based 3PL services. The MG TMS allows for great efficiency gains versus other systems that we have used.

What do you like best about MercuryGate TMS?
I like the fact it is Web based and much less of a hassle than the older systems.
What do you dislike about MercuryGate TMS?
It can't do everything my company needs it to do, but we are working on it. It has a hard time reading reship and break bulk receivers.
What problems is MercuryGate TMS solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a much more economical system compared to our old system of AS-400.
