Best software for anyone in the medical field

What do you like best about MEDHOST EDIS?

You can access patients easily, enter orders with one click and then scan the patients arm band and medication you are administering- it makes working in the ER very easy.

What do you dislike about MEDHOST EDIS?

When you enter a test accidentally you can not delete it-even if you cancel it it is still on the account which can be confusing to other staff that are reading a chart.

What problems is MEDHOST EDIS solving and how is that benefiting you?

Medhost Edis solves the need to write complete notes when you are busy it is easy to forget to add things- this software makes it simple and complete- making sure all meds are scanned for each person they are administered too.

The process of charting involves a lot of clicking. It is beneficial if the HPI section compatible with dictation. There is potential for improving the screen size configuration to optimize desktop usage.

Sometimes it lead to delays in treatments due to slow charting and an outdated system.

What do you like best about MEDHOST EDIS?

The thing I like best is that the platform provides real-time tracking and visibility of patient status and location within the emergency department. This helps staff efficiently manage patient flow and reduce wait times.

What do you dislike about MEDHOST EDIS?

The thing I dislike in medhost is, the user interface is good... but their technical team can make it little more user friendly so that everyone can understand how it works very well.

The main problem it solves is unnecessary delay in treatments as it allows nurses and clinicians to perform electronic triaging, quickly assessing the severity of the patient's condition and determining the appropriate level of care needed.

The touchscreen option makes it user friendly and portable for many devices. The ability to customize Ordersets is also great.

What do you dislike about MEDHOST EDIS?

Size configuration of the screen. When utilizing the application from a desktop it will not fill the whole screen.

My MEDHOST experience!

What do you like best about MEDHOST EDIS?

This is by far the easiest EMR system anyone can use. I used it in ER setting - between 2008 & 2015. This program is by far the most user friendly product I have ever used as well. I highly recommend this system.

What do you dislike about MEDHOST EDIS?

In all honesty there is nothing I disliked about Medhost during the time I used the system.

Recommendations to others considering MEDHOST EDIS?

Try it, very easy system to use. At first many RN's in our department were hesitant to learn it. Once they figure out how easy it was they loved it and would not go back to paper charting.

What problems is MEDHOST EDIS solving and how is that benefiting you?

I used for patient EMR documentation in ER setting. I used in the general ER, Peds ER & Triage.
