I evaluated several eQMS options for our company's transition from a paper-based system to an electronic one, and MasterControl's user interface was the most intuitive and easy to use. As our main concern was end user rollout and adoption, the modules keep processes in a neat 'container,' which makes the process of learning the system easier. As a first time sysadmin, there are endless resources from MasterControl Academy, to the Help pages, to the Community Hub which allow me to see the capability of the system. Our company will also make great use of leveraging dynamic organizers to maintain Design History Files, which previously was a huge manual effort. Overall, the best thing about the system is the time it saves. Previously, preparing a Change Order could take hours, but in MasterControl it takes minutes.

There are a couple small improvements that could be made. For example, with the search functionality-there is a general search bar at the top of the page, but also one within the page you are on, and I often end up searching in the wrong one. It is also difficult to keep multiple tabs of MasterControl open.

Users generating the wrong document numbers, not completing their training in a timely manner, and ease of locating training records.

MasterControl Quality Management System is valuable because it provides an integrated and compliant platform for regulated quality processes. It helps connect documents, training, quality events, CAPA, change control, and approvals in a controlled workflow.

The strongest point is its ability to support regulatory requirements such as audit trails, electronic approvals, version control, and traceability. It is especially useful for pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies that need strong data integrity and inspection readiness.

I highly appreciate its automated workflow tracking and centralized data management. It makes tracking deviations, CAPA, and change controls much easier and more transparent across different departments.

System configuration and system updates require a lot of time and technical effort. It would be much better if the platform offered a more modern UI and faster loading times when opening heavy documents.

MasterControl helps us solve the problem of fragmented document management and manual tracking of quality events. Before implementing it, preparing for regulatory audits required a tremendous amount of paper-based cross-checking and time. By centralizing our SOPs, deviations, and CAPAs, it ensures complete data integrity and traceability. The biggest benefit is that we are always audit-ready, which significantly reduces compliance risks and saves our team hours of manual preparation.

I like AQEM because it simplifies quality event management and provides a clear, structured workflow. It improves efficiency, traceability, and overall user experience.

Some features can be complex for new users, and certain workflows require additional configuration. There is still room for improvement in usability, notifications, and workflow flexibility.

MasterControl QMS helps us manage quality events in a more structured and efficient way. AQEM improves workflow transparency, task tracking, and cross-functional collaboration, reducing manual work and supporting regulatory compliance.

The most favorable aspect of the MasterControl Quality Management System is that it can be easily customized and it allows for the easy creation of many AI tools. These features are easy to use, which is satisfying.

I really like the ease of infocard creation and collaboration in the MasterControl Quality Management System. It's user-friendly and easy to learn, which is great. I also appreciate the reports and the flexible role and rights options. The initial setup was fairly easy, especially with MC help.

AQEM needs lots of improvement to be better than FBS. The basic expectation would be to do everything that FBS does, with the addition of customization.

It provides a single platform for all our documents, making them searchable across sites as needed.
